Quite an experience. It’s an onsen spa hotel with like an arcade inside too. The space was huge. Arranging the pick up from airport was difficult because I don’t speak Chinese but when I was already at the hotel the staff were very accommodating. Very comfortable stay!

The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The staff doesn’t speak English and can’t handle basic comfort or accommodation issues. Most of our requests were met with a simple “no”. There are no fridges in the rooms or any way to keep food cool. There’s not even a basic “Do Not Disturb” sign, so cleaning staff may walk in while you’re sleeping. The food is repetitive and boring, and the prices are very inflated. Maybe it’s acceptable for waterpark guests, but hotel guests should at least get a small discount. Hotel rules are not provided — you find things out only when, for example, a staff member approaches you in the jacuzzi and tries to explain something in Chinese. When I arrived at the airport, I tried calling the hotel to ask about the transfer, but they just said “no English” and hung up. I had to arrange a taxi myself — luckily, I had Alipay. With this level of service, the hotel shouldn’t be allowed to host international guests. The entrance and exit system is a nightmare. Every time you want to go out, you have to ask for a pass card, return unnecessary wristbands, go through turnstiles — all just to cross the street to a shop. Then when you come back, you have to wait while they search for your wristbands among many others, go through the turnstile again, and finally make it back to your room. 我们住过的最糟糕的酒店。 工作人员不会说英语，也无法处理基本的住宿和便利问题。我们的大多数请求都被简单地拒绝了。 房间里没有冰箱，也没有任何可以冷藏食物的设备。甚至连“请勿打扰”的标识都没有，打扫卫生的员工可能会在你睡觉时闯入房间。 餐食单一无趣，价格严重虚高。也许对于水上乐园的游客来说可以接受，但酒店住客应该至少享有一些折扣。 酒店的规定根本没有提前说明，你只能在遇到问题时被工作人员用中文解释，比如在按摩浴缸时突然有人走过来说一堆你听不懂的话。 我抵达机场后尝试联系酒店获取接送服务的信息，但他们只说了一句 “不会英语” 然后挂掉了电话。最后我只能自己叫出租车——还好我有支付宝。 以这样的服务态度，这家酒店根本不适合接待外国客人。 酒店的出入系统非常不方便。每次外出都必须请求通行卡、归还不需要的手环、通过闸机——只是为了过马路去对面的商店。 回酒店时，还要等他们在一堆手环中找出你的，再次通过闸机，然后才能回到自己的房间休息。

Hotel provides shuttle bus to/fro Disneyland, hot spring, kids simple water parks. The room is simple and normal.

Gokurakuyu Hot Springs hotel is a wonderful spa place offering comfortable rooms after recent renovations. The location is close to Pudong airport (15 minutes by taxi) and very close to Disneyland. It has good food services (restaurant, drinks bar), massage, outdoor swimming pool and hot springs. The hot springs are gender separated and have three indoor baths, jet baths, outdoor bath sauna and (brrrr) cold plunge pool. Also body scrubs are offered. I really like the place. Service staff is welcoming and friendly and some speak English. Otherwise translation on phone is used. Prices are very good. I can strongly recommend this place!

Rooms are not very comfortable. But the hotel overall is good enough.

We booked this to be close to Disney and it was very close. Good massages and hot springs. Just know that hot springs are nude so make sure you are okay with that. Helpful staff. A few restaurants nearby. Only complaint is that the shower didn’t drain very well.

Great location to go pudong airport from. Onsen was relaxing and nice.

I must say if you are reading this then do book this place. It is a brilliant experience to seek in China while feeling Japan come to you. We came for one night and then booked another one as well. The place apart from the spa and massage, has multiple kids' play areas. Video games parlour and movie cinema seats with private screens. This would provide ultimate relaxation to you. Food can include some Western options though and a staff who can speak English as well.

This hotel is really huge, and probably the best value you’ll get around Pudong. Comfortable and clean rooms, very nice Japanese design. Hot spring spa has many options for a great relaxing time after a long day of walk at Disneyland. The park is just 15mn drive, and their complementary shuttle bus service is super convenient! Many not the finest breakfast but that will do the job if you’re not too picky on food options. Highly recommended!!

It’s great if you wana get away from the cold. The massage services inside are expensive even if you’re a guest there. The drinks are RMB38 for a coffee. Mattress was hard as a rock, hairdryer is broken, water pressure is not stable at certain times, there’s no snacks around but you can call delivery. Other than all that, it does look like a japan onsen.

The kids loved it. Plenty of options for fun. Water park, swimmingpool, play area, arcade and games stations, comic books, pool tables, movies and shows. Cafes, restaurants and shops across the road. Shuttle to airport and Disney. Bus stop nearby and two metro stations within 2km radius. There are other local attractions as well.

Super stay, pleasant environment and hot spring. Rechablity is good to Disney land as well as restaurants are surrounded by the location. Good spa facility
