Lotte City Hotel Hotels in Seoul

I read other reviews and decided to book this because of raving reviews on its location. That said, perhaps the expectations were high, thus I wasn’t too impressed by the location. Factually though: 3 mins to airport limousine, 15 mins to myeongdong shopping. The lift was particularly slow, especially when we were on high floor. Services of the staff were excellent though. Attending to our requests very well. Overall, if you don’t mind lugging the goods for a good 15-20 mins from central myeong dong street, this hotel is great. It is also near to cafes and restaurants.

Room was comfortable. Location-not near the attractions but I like that there is a Lotte supermarket at the basement. Stayed here towards the last leg of our trip and I was able to buy Korean snacks and grocery items on our last day. It was hard to get a taxi/uber, spent 30mins trying to get one (drivers cancelled) in the end took subway to get to Seoul station to take train to airport. I suggest just taking the “slow” train at the subway below Lotte Hotel Mapo that goes directly to the airport terminals. I didn’t know this and had prebooked arex train at Seoul Station. Overall good hotel and staff were polite and nice. Would stay here again if I go back to Seoul.

The rooms feel cramped. Nice hotel but on the pricey side for what it is. The subway station is a bit of a walk that can feel hot suring the summer. Service was really wonderful and love that there is a shuttle directly from the airport that can drop you off at the hotel

Great Stay Experience! I got a upgrade to Family Room… Seem like all the staffs is in good mood that day, so services is excellent Breakfast Area have great options and thoses ajuma is the best Room is big and clean, ice & water machine on hallway of the floor Location is the best, connect direct to lotte mall and airport Notes: if you’re planning to use public transport system to Seoul… it will be big mess, to much walk to get in town
