This hotel is very close to Sendai Station, a 5-minute walk away, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

This is our second times to stay in this hotel. Excellent location and staff. Staff is nice and help us to switch another room as the on/off button is not working. Will defenitiely book this hotel next time.

Beautiful decor and really comfortable. Loved the toiletries and pyjamas provided. There's also an air purifier in each room. Location is superb, a few steps away from Sendai Station and main shopping area!

3-4 mins walk from Sendai Station. It’s well located and it’s super clean. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Hotel for 3 of us was great, spacious and facilities inside the room was awesome for the amount I paid! Definitely value for money! Thank you and I will book this again if I ever come Sendai 🤙🏻

Perhaps the best hotel throughout my Tokyo - Tohoku trip. Comparatively spacious, staff speaks English well, the onsen spa is very affordable for guests, walking distance from Sendai station, hotel has unique 18th century European design, comfortable beds, good amenities. Only thing is that the onsen spa does not permit guests with tattoo, which can pose a bit of a problem in light of the free and open society nowadays. Perhaps the hotel can limit it to restricting only guests with "tattoo sleeves" or something. Small cute little tattoos all over the body do not necessarily create a negative perception. I have 3 small tattoos on my body and I still went to the onsen nonetheless during non-peak hours, just to be respectful (I was all alone and would have left if it created discomfort for other guests). But love the hotel overall. Highly recommended.

First of all, the hotel is in a very good location, a few minutes away from Sendai Station, next to the commercial street, very convenient for eating and shopping, the hotel check-in was very fast, the cleaning was also very thorough, in short, very satisfied. There is platform 16 next to it, you can take a sightseeing bus to go around the main attractions. There are also several beef tongue restaurants, which are delicious.

Stayed at the Monterey Hotel for three nights. It is a very retro hotel. Although the facilities are a bit old, it is well maintained. It is very close to Sendai Station and only takes five minutes to walk. The room is large and cost-effective. There are complete charging sockets. The TV also shows the crowdedness of the large bath. The large bath has free drinks, ice cream and snacks. The staff is friendly and the service is thoughtful. I highly recommend it!
