It's really worth choosing Banyan Tree Villa Hotel for this trip to Semporna! As soon as I got off the car, someone greeted me. Check-in was super fast. The private swimming pool is also great, and I am not afraid of being disturbed at all.

Everyone says that the accommodation conditions in Semporna town are poor. I looked at several hotels and they were not good enough. Suddenly I saw Pineapple Sea. I was fascinated by its scenery. It was completely in the style of a resort. After booking, I contacted the boss on WeChat. The boss was very considerate and told us what to prepare in advance. Including our trip to the sea, which was arranged by the boss. The service was very meticulous. Before I arrived in Semporna, a special service group had been set up. When I arrived, they would arrange airport pick-up in advance. I didn’t have to worry about it along the way. If I had any questions, I could ask in the group and they would reply at any time. The two-bedroom room we stayed in was very large and clean. There were shuttle buses to the town. They would recommend local food and it was very cost-effective. It was a pity that the schedule was tight, otherwise I really wanted to stay a few more days. I will have a chance to go there and have fun for a few days next time. I still chose to stay at Pineapple Sea~

But the room was without windows, very small, with a terrible smell of mold that did not disappear overnight. Hard beds, no interior, a window into the corridor where the light was on all night. Reminds me of a free hospital in remote regions. We slept very poorly. Breakfast is symbolic: noodles, eggs and tea, coffee. The next day we moved to a real comfortable hotel with a good breakfast and significantly cheaper.

Except for the airport, because the airport is too far away, you need to pay for the pick-up and drop-off, and the boss has arranged it properly. Praise the little brother Weiwei (Wei Wei?) by his real name. He takes care of a store by himself. During the peak tourist season, he is busy running up and down. He is very polite and friendly. I heard that he came to help his aunt take care of the store during the summer vacation. He is a boy. She is quite shy, but she takes good care of her guests, arrives as soon as she is called, and runs out of breath, but speaks very gently when she comes to you. The small town of Semporna is not prosperous, but this hotel is considered an upper-level hotel in Semporna! The room is fully equipped, air-conditioned, and has a separate bathroom! This is the point! There are many public restrooms in the town! You don't know how important it is to find a Chinese hotel if you are not good at foreign languages ​​in foreign countries! I stayed in a 4-bed dormitory. The room is spacious as you can see in the photo. The bunk bed is sturdy and the bedding is very good. I like the open air reception area where you can chat with other guests and exchange diving experience. The kitchen is decent. It is located near the waterfront, so everything is in walking distance. My only problem is the wifi. Its signal is strong but with little to no connectivity during my entire stay. The staff has been informed. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The biggest problem we live in is that the bedside cannot be charged! ! ! The plug-in line is too short, and it can be charged on the dressing table. It is very inconvenient. Other aspects are ordinary. The room type is equivalent to a domestic express hotel of more than 100 yuan. The location is close to the visitor center pier, but it is about 1.5 kilometers away from the seafood market.
