Semporna Hotels with Bars

It turned out that a family of 7 booked Yongda, but were informed that the hotel was overbooked and the reservation was cancelled. So it was a blessing in disguise that Ctrip arranged to stay in Haifeng. This should be the best and newest hotel in town. It has no decoration smell at all and is relatively clean. It feels a little worse than Atour in China. Overall, it is very good here.

First of all, I want to praise the owner of this shop. He is very very very very good!!! Especially considerate!!! It is also very interesting. This hotel is a newly opened homestay. The environment and facilities are all first-class. The bed is super soft. There are many kinds of breakfast. The most important thing is!! This shop is managed very well. Every morning you can see employees cleaning the swimming pool, watering the flowers, and hanging clothes outside. If it rains, someone will take them away!! There is also a shuttle service. Don't worry about being far from the town because whenever you want to go to the town, there will be a driver to take you there for free! The hotel also has a car booking service to the airport!! Anyway, I will stay here next time I come to Semporna. It's super good!!! Hehe 😈

It's not in town yet, but it's close to the airport. It's also very convenient to get to town. There is a shuttle bus. Because we played casually, we didn't take the shuttle bus. We paid the fat sister driver of the manor to pick us up. She was available at any time. Even if there was no time, she would help contact other cars. It takes more than ten minutes to get to town without traffic jams. Even if there is a traffic jam, it will take more than twenty minutes at most. It's very convenient. The environment is much better than the town, the air is fresh, the room is very clean, the people in the manor are very good, and they will help solve any problems in time. The boss Dong Ge and the short-haired sister at the front desk are also very nice and kind. I will choose to stay in the manor next time.

Good location near the Seafest jetty. Decent hotel with decent sized rooms. Nice sunset view from the room window. However, the rooms are quite old and the air conditioner is not cold at all. Otherwise the shower water pressure is great. The breakfast buffet has limited options and the food is below average. The egg counter gives pre-cooked eggs instead of made-to-order

Sea Star Perfect resort. Perfect location. Perfect staff. Wonderful owner, ERIC, who has great PR 👍🏻. Staff is respectful and friendly. I cannot ask for more. Highly recommend Sea Star Resort. We bought a 3D2N Sea Star Resort package. It included a return transfer by van from Tawau Airport to Semporna boat jetty which took almost 1.5h, a 10-minute boat ride to Sea Star Resort, a whole day of island hopping and snorkelling, all meals (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner 👍🏻), free usage of inflatables, transparent paddle boat and snorkelling gear and unlimited supply of drinking water. The room is very clean and spacious- had a king size bed plus a day bed. Bath area was spacious and attractive. Really love this place very much. Look at the video I have attached! Air conditioned, good internet connection and extended balcony. Food is local buffet style. We enjoyed all our meals there. You will get an assortment of dishes. For dinner, you get good large prawns 🍤 and fish👍🏻. Tea is special- besides 2-3 types if local cakes, you get an endless supply of banana fritters which are very addictive 👍🏻 The sea water around the resort and beyond is crystal clear. You can always see the marine creatures in the water. From 4pm, use of inflatables, transparent paddle boat and snorkelling gear are supervised. One of the best Hotel Deal in Semporna town you can get. Location is very convenient for family travelers. Hotel is connected to a small so called town mall, where various fast food chains are just downstairs i.e. Starbucks (the only one in Semporna), KFC, Secret Recipe, 7 Eleven, Convenient Store. With the right room, you can get a great view of the busy sea. DIY Laundry is a bit far though, would have to drive to do your own laundry.

The water house is about 20 minutes away from the town. After arriving, there will be special water house staff to help carry luggage and check in. There is a store manager sister who can speak Chinese. She is super nice, so the baby who doesn't speak the language can rest assured. Because the water house has just opened not long ago, the entire facility is relatively new. There is no problem with the sanitary environment. There are 4 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The taste of the food is more domestic, so you won't be uncomfortable. You can see the clear sea every day when you wake up. It's very quiet and comfortable, which makes people especially relaxed! It really exceeded expectations!

The service is great! There is a shuttle bus to and from the town! When I first arrived at the hotel, I thought it was too far from the town! I went to the town and thought it was OK! Very good! It's better to be far away! In the morning, I participated in an activity, and the hotel also arranged a car to send me to the designated pier in advance! The staff in the store are very enthusiastic! The restaurant is also delicious! I had two meals in a row! Although it was not very satisfactory at first glance! But it is in Semporna! It's very good! The only thing is that the room is a bit small. There is basically no space for two 30-inch large boxes! Then it is pristine, but it is normal to have a few small geckos. In short, it is not bad, recommended

We were travelling with kids ranging from 1.5 yo to grandparents of 70s. The rooms and facilities are well cared, clean and comfortable. The meals are lovely and has a good variety. I ended appreciating the inland resort as it is safer for kids to run around and easy access for elderly. The main purpose of our trip is to snorkel and enjoy the coast. Except for the 1.5yo, everyone went snorkelling in the open water. This resort has the most amazing coral reef just off its jetty. Having snorkel at various part of the island, we realised this resort somehow able to maintain a good coastal ecosystem that attracts lot of marine life..The snorkel and diving crew are amazing, caring and highly professional people. My 8yo encountered with an emergency whilst snorkelling in the open water. (Things happened in the wild.) We were very grateful for the decisive action of our first responder dive instructor, immediate organisation by the hotel manager to access medical care and the tireless company by our snorkelling guide throughout the medical transport and treatment process. We were well taken care by this great community. Our 8yo was back to her normal self that afternoon and insisted to continue with island hoping adventure the next day. Instead of discouraging us from taking to the trip, the resort has arranged additional crew members to accompany us the next day. Whilst the rest of the family snorkel, the additional crew spent time with my 8yo on the boat, entertaining her with tales of the sea. The level of service is truly amazing. Lastly, we were so lucky to witness the release of baby sea turtles into the sea. The resort has beaches preserve for turtles to nest. If you appreciate the marine ecosystem and the experience to be close to nature, I highly recommend Borneo Divers. We will be back for more snorkelling.

Very satisfied with our stay at Shun Shun! Awesome views, beautiful boardwalks, very friendly staff. Location is nearby the semporna jetty which is convenient (10 minutes). Rooms are nice, modern, clean with a nice balcony and big windowed doors to a view of the ocean. Basic no-frills room, not a luxury villa by any means, cheap furniture and decor. The food is good, mostly Chinese/malaysian fusion. Selection doesn't change much from night to night but they will make you something custom if you want. Communication is good with them on WhatsApp. Power and water 24 hours a day. For alcohol they only have tiger beer for RM10. Note that the free boat has a defined schedule that they set, unfortunately the last boat from shore is early at 530pm. You pay RM100 for a special trip.
