Panglima Resort was established in commemoration of one of the heroes named Panglima Lauhari who came from this village and is famous for his resistance to British colonialism in the Semporna District in the 1800s. Our resort is located on the shores of Pulau Bum Bum and faces the Tun Sakaran Marine Park Tourism Islands such as Bohey Dulang Island, Sibuan Island, Mantabuan Island and many more. Our resort is a homestay concept because it is located close to the villagers. Our resort is also a resort that practices the concept of community-based tourism and you will certainly be interested in seeing the beauty of the village, the environment and the traditional lifestyle and culture of the local community in addition to various sea and land activities that can be carried out here. Apart from providing accommodation, we also provide activity services such as Day trip, island hopping, hiking, snorkeling, diving, watersports, fishing and many more. The journey to our resort from Semporna Town takes only 10 minutes and it is located 7 kilometers from Semporna Town.

There is very nice place and the boss is very helpful! There are only six room and quiet ! As this is my birthday trip, so excited the restaurant moved to the middle of the sea like the chairs, tables and food! Whole guests join together! Amazing experience! Asked me what favourite colour because they prepared your favourite colour cake! Really memorable!

We stayed for two nights and were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff. The water wasn’t very clear, so we only swam once, and we only saw small fish near the platform. The food options were somewhat limited. However, the resort provided convenient pick-up and drop-off services to/from UmUm Jetty.

A wonderful discovery near Semporna. The resort is located next to a fishing village. The advantage is that it's not in the city, and boat rides are flexible (it takes 15 to 20 minutes) from the jetty.
Nice outdoor spaces with a platform overlooking the sea for relaxing. There's no beach, so we didn't swim.
The welcome is very warm, Malaysian-style. For me, it's an ideal place for 1 or 2 nights in Semporna.
