"This was our second year in a row going to the Schenna resort. The location is very nice with a good view. Staff of the hotel in every part of the hotel is very friendly. We had the vinea suite which is very good equiped with comfortable beds and are cleaned very well by the housekeeping staff. They have their own winery of which you buy wine in the hotel after your stay and also during dinner. The restaurant is very good with delecious food and a good variety of choices. One of the owners of the hotel does his round every day in the restaurant to greet all the guests and do some small talk which is a nice gesture to see he is really busy with his guests. Do keep in mind that German and Italian is the primary language, they do their best to speak English but this doensn''t always work out great..."

"As a family of four with children aged 10 and 14, we had a pleasant stay at Hohenwart. The food was great, and the breakfast buffet was extensive with a cook-to-order station. The hotel has two wellness areas, one for adults and one for children, and the view over Meran is stunning. However, we found the kids' pricing a bit confusing. Even though the children stayed in a separate room together, both kids were charged the price of a "single stay in a double room", which was €50 more than the adults. Although the 10-year-old received a 60% discount on this elevated price, we still don't understand why the 14-year-old had to pay a "single-stay in double room" price. Comment of the Hotel: "That is how we do things here, this is normal, and we do it like this since 30 years" Not sure but maybe 30 years ago the kids would have slept on the foldaway sofa instead of their own room."

Hotel Finkenhof - Feel at Home

"The view is amazing. Hotel is ok. NO high speed internet, it took ages to load google maps. 2 small pool kan hardly qualify as SPA, but ok, kids had fun. Food was NOT ok. Mashed potatoes made of powder, vegetarian option was not edible. Service is very confused, they asked us 9 times what our room number was during dinner, could get the order right 3 times and the food took ages. Checking in and out takes a lot of time, we had to wait in a line of 3 guests about half an hour. Spet 575 euros for one night in a hotel, definitely NOT worth the money. Really disappointed. I wish we booked elsewhere."

"We were guests of the hotel on the last opening weekend before the winter closure. The cuisine is very good, both for dinner and for the breakfast buffet. The gem is the relaxation area overlooking the valley, including the massage rooms with panoramic windows."
