"Most hotels in Georgetown are quite old, so we opted for this new Marriott property. Marriott hotels are always reliable. The twin beds are 1.35 meters wide, spacious enough for a family of four. Keep this a secret! The best front desk service was provided by the Indian and Malay ladies; if you're checking in, try to find them. While the other Chinese and Indian staff were all smiles, their service wasn't quite as good. The handsome gentleman at the dining reception was also excellent; he even gave me an extra breakfast portion because I had a child with me. The hotel is surrounded by eateries – you really can't go wrong with any of them. A 10-minute taxi ride took us to Gurney Plaza, where we enjoyed Haidilao and explored many shops. Highly recommended!"

"The mini desserts were delicious, and the tea lounge even provided TWG tea bags, which instantly transported me back to Singapore! However, the alarm clock in my friend's room inexplicably went off at 4 AM. Additionally, before we even checked in, the towels and other amenities hadn't been properly prepared. We reported these issues to the front desk in the morning and requested a room change, but upon our return in the evening, the request had not been actioned. Ultimately, the manager offered a verbal apology upon check-out, but no other compensation was provided."

"The Prestige Hotel is one of the very interesting hotels that we have stayed in. The staff explained how the design elements of the shower room came about and also the corridor walkway. I shall not disclose the information till you stayed in this hote. Overall, the location is good, and the hotel is comfy. We arrived early, but they allowed us to check in early as it's my birthday. The staff also send in-room a cake. Nice gestures and friendly staff. My son wasn't well and rested in the room. Upon hearing that, one of the female staff offered to deliver porridge to his room. Such great service. Thanks to all the staff, we had a great stay in Penang."

"Excellent Stay at Penang Marriott Executive Apartments My recent stay at the Penang Marriott Executive Apartments, which are combined with the Penang Marriott Hotel and share the same facilities, was truly exceptional. The friendly front desk staff provided clear explanations upon check-in. My room was spotlessly clean, well-equipped like a home, and included a free mini-bar, with a stunning sea view. A huge thanks goes to the housekeeping team for the lovely birthday decorations and card. My special appreciation also goes to Ms. Melanie for her thoughtful wish card, and to those who decorated the birthday cake on the table—their efforts truly made my celebration special. The facilities, including good swimming pools for both adults and kids, were great, and parking was convenient. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Gurney Drive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and fresh options, including fresh juice and coffee, served by friendly and helpful staff. Every staff member I met was warm and welcoming, contributing to a truly wonderful experience."

"Good location and offer free multilevel carpark. This property is still doing renovation so it could be dusty. Our family loves the view most. You can see scenic mountains and sea views from the highest level. The swimming pool is my children's favourite spot. Too bad the sprinkle was not working. Room is spacious and clean, with the price paid nothing to be complained about. The service of front desk could be further improved. I asked about wifi they told me they will send through whatsapp but i didnt receive any text messages throughout the stay. Not that i need it but the hospitality is missing."
