"Loads of potential and most of the staff are friendly and try their best. The resort could focus on training their employees so that they can deliver services on a more higher level. They are able to do their jobs but it's very basic and doesn't fit the brand image that they are trying to portray. The food quality was not of high standard and when the hotel is not full they cold probably provide a set menu for breakfast. It may not be as good at first, but for reducing food wastage and food related health it could be beneficial. Our stomachs weren't happy when we ate at the resort because of this. For staff, you can empower your workforce by rather having a few people who are highly skilled but in a variety of areas. Maybe doing family weekends and have a kids club going to get younger families witih kids under 12 to come, as I feel like this is a great resort for young families since the beach is calm and the pools are set up like that. There is a massive area on the one side of the common area that could possibly have a play area with a little crafts centre going. The location is far from most places so if the resort focused on uplifting this would probably help a lot. It really has a lot of potential."

I stayed at the Oberoi Hotel in Lombok for 350 US dollars and at the Lombok Island Cottage Suite Hotel Private Villa for 450 US dollars, but your hotel's Garden Villa at 888 RMB is really a great value for money. Most importantly, the staff are very friendly to Chinese people. Whether it's the front desk or the restaurant waiters, everyone can speak Chinese and greet you with ”How are you?” There is even a Chinese staff member at the front desk, who is really very kind. Both the room and the view are really great. I really want to say that the price is really a great deal. I never imagined that for a few hundred RMB, I could have such wonderful memories here."

"Lovely hotel, service is good. We stayed in garden chalet. The anniversary and fruit touch was so nice Daily cleaning. Staff are so kind and polite. It is a 4 star and is clean. There was a smell from the loo which was solved once we told housekeeping. The resort is showing its age but nevertheless decent. Only thing is doors do not seal so creepy crawlies are always in. We were not too fussed - some days only saw ants which was annoying but otherwise ok. The beach had no lifeguard so if you do go in it’s at own risk. We wouldn’t suggest this as waves are always high good for surfers. Amenities there is a mart walking distance and a spa. Not much else including food places you have to get a grab or drive. You get a free photoshoot which is really good as you get to keep a printed photo for free! Breakfast is decent nothing special. View of palm trees and beach is amazing."

"We booked a room with a bathtub and it was super romantic in the evening. Fantastic view of the ocean. The breakfast could have been bigger. You are only allowed to get one dish from the menu, so if you want an omelette and almond croissant, you have to pay for it. The location is very quiet far from any mosques."

"Hotel location is good, there is a day trip to the hotel entrance, turn right and there is a hotel convenience store and cash machine, very suitable for a hotel, stayed for two days did not live enough, but also want to continue to live. The second floor villa, the living room dining room downstairs, there is a place on the right side of the balcony where you can soak in the hot spring. The front is directly connected to the swimming pool. The second floor is the bedroom. There is also a lanai. There is one toilet upstairs and downstairs. "I had high expectations for my stay at Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok, given its potential and picturesque setting. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying, marking a clear departure from the resort's former glory days. The first thing that struck me was the overall lack of maintenance. It's evident that the property has seen better days, with clear signs of wear and tear. The grounds, which could have been immaculate, were poorly kept, diminishing the natural beauty of the location. A major letdown was the swimming pool. Despite the tropical allure, the pool was in a dire state - the water was murky, and it felt uninviting. Even after I pointed this out, and the staff seemingly cleaned it, the improvement was minimal. The water remained cloudy, making it less appealing for a refreshing dip. The room itself was just okay. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief, but this was overshadowed by the state of the bathroom. It was disappointingly dirty, with massive stains and a shower glass covered in limescale. It seemed as if it had only been rinsed with water, without any proper cleaning agents. Adding to the discomfort was the sight of several out-of-use rooms. Through their windows, one could see disarray - bare mattresses, safes left haphazardly on them. It was a sad sight and spoke volumes about the current state of the resort. Overall, Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok falls short of its potential. It's a shame to see a place with so much promise deteriorate like this. The management needs to take immediate action to restore and maintain the property to its former standards. Until then, I find it hard to recommend this resort for a pleasant stay."
