"This is the best hotel you will get in Rongjiang. I would say the standard of fit out is similar to a Atour hotel for example. However, this is a brand new property and has a lot of gaps and it feels like the hotel is at a pre opening stage rather than a fully opened hotel. The Landry in very small basically only one washing machine and one dryer. But after each wash there was water leaks all over the floor as they have not installed the water pipes properly. The rooms are clean but air con keeps on switching off and you need to keep on changing cold settings to turn it back on. Another annoying thing is the toilet light. Even when turned on the sensors will turn off the light halfway through a shower. So you need to wave the sensor to turn the lights on again. The reception staff are friendly but clearly lack the polished service. I purchase two nights and added to additional night which I paid at the hotel. But the evening staff don’t seem to communicate with the morning shift. I received a call on the third day around lunchtime asking why I didn’t check out when I paid for two extra nights at reception. There is supposed to be a gym but no equipment and the football field below is nice but entrance to the field is not yet setup. Finally, breakfast is very very basic so don’t expect much. Noodles, eggs and a few veggie dishes but quality is quite low."

Before we finished our lunch, the waiter had already said that the sanitation of the guest room was ready, and the store manager had also explained that he had taken the initiative to upgrade us to the best room type in the B&B. The whole wall of floor-to-ceiling glass, outside is the balcony, and you can see the Miao village and terraced fields. The waiter brought us mountain spring water, which is convenient for us to make tea and coffee in the room. It is provided in the guest room. We sat on the balcony drinking tea and coffee all afternoon, waiting to take pictures of the sunset, but the weather was not good enough and we didn't take them. The B&B has yoga activities in the morning and evening, which need to be booked in advance. Just say it in the group and go there at the agreed time. It is in another house in front. We had three meals in the homestay, namely Miao home-style, braised duck, and beef in sour soup. Each time brought me surprises. The chef's skills here are very good, and the dishes made are at the level of boutique high-end homestays. Thumbs up! Every waiter was very polite and obviously well-trained. Because the big bed was facing the floor-to-ceiling glass, we were awakened by the sunrise in the morning.
