"Marriott Resort is a bit far away from city. It is in a new area called Seatopia. There is KFC and Pizza Hut right in front. Hotel also has many food options. Nearby beach is clean but winds are sometimes disturbing. If you like to stay in peace far from crowd, then it is an ideal place."

"Very convenient location, next to the sea. New, clean hotel with modern renovation and a great view. The bath is just super! 🫶 The hotel staff are wonderful, they helped a lot. The girl who saved us when our motorcycle ran out of battery - you are super, thank you! Good cuisine in the cafe on the first floor. I would like to have tea in the room and the ability to turn on foreign films, we still haven't figured out whether this is possible.🤧"

"We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi. The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!"

"Our stay at this beachfront hotel was wonderful. The clean room and stunning ocean views made for a relaxing retreat. Watching the sunrise and strolling along the beach added to the charm. The hot springs in our room were a unique and enjoyable feature.The staff was friendly and helpful, enhancing our experience. The dinner buffet, priced at 169 RMB, offered a fantastic variety of seafood and other dishes, making it a must-try. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our stay and recommend this hotel for its excellent location and amenities."

"A true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again."

"The front desk staff member was incredibly sweet and pleasant, offering very warm and attentive service. In the afternoon, our child wanted some of the breakfast pancakes. We called the front desk, and not only did she not refuse our request, but she actually managed to find some and personally delivered them to our room. This act of kindness deeply touched our entire family! The hotel's cleanliness, needless to say, was outstanding! The bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was very convenient to use. The room ventilation was also excellent, and I was so impressed by the cleanliness that I specifically looked for dust motes in the sunlight and found absolutely none. Behind the hotel, there's a large supermarket, making it incredibly convenient to pick up anything we needed. Choosing to stay at the University Town Mercure Hotel in Haigang District this time was definitely the right call. Getting a taxi to go anywhere was super convenient, and it even felt like tourists had priority! A big thumbs up to Qinhuangdao's cultural and tourism department! When traveling as a family, safety and comfort are paramount. We originally considered a guesthouse, but after weighing all factors, especially with a child, a hotel was definitely the better choice. Next time we visit Qinhuangdao, we will certainly head straight for Mercure again!"

"We stayed at Jinming Licheng Ruixuan Hotel, located at Block A, Jinming International Fortune Center, No. 3 Liupanshan Road, Haigang District, during our visit to Qinhuangdao. The front desk clerk was very nice, especially the guy with the badge. When we asked about the charging pile and couldn't figure out the direction, he went to the intersection to guide us. He greeted us warmly when we entered and exited the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas. The parking was spacious and convenient. The breakfast was good. Our tour of Hebei was coming to an end. Jinming Licheng Ruixuan was the most expensive hotel we stayed in along the way. It was more expensive than the four-diamond hotel in the provincial capital, but the conditions were the worst among the four-diamond hotels. The three small bottles (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) and toothbrushes were of average quality. The small colorful plastic comb was a cheap item that was only used in homestays. The towels were stiff and hardened. The pillow core had been extremely flattened and was filled with the smell of old hair oil. The wallpaper, curtains, and sofas were full of cigarette odor. The bathroom sewer was blocked and unsmooth. There was no choice for eating and shopping around... In short, the stay experience was not good. We had received five-star reviews all the way, but we had to give a discount when we came to this hotel."

"J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs."

"There are a few details that are quite surprising. One is that when I arrived at 11 o'clock in the morning, the hotel just had a newly completed room and I checked in directly. Second, no matter when I went in or out, there was a young man who took the initiative to help push the luggage. He was very active and enthusiastic. He pushed it to the room and to the car and helped move it. Third, the security guard in charge of the car was very good. From pointing out the parking location to patrolling the car at night, I saw a warm patrol card the next morning, which was very touching. The rest of the breakfast, hardware, and beds were good. Because the location is a bit off, it provides a standard five-star level at a four-star price, but it really doesn't matter if you drive yourself, it's just a matter of one foot on the accelerator. There are just a few takeaway options, and don't even think about buying medicine."

"Hotel location is very good to find on the street, has its own parking lot, and is pet-friendly 🐶, very suitable for our self-driving group with dogs.
