"We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi. The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!"

"I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton. The location is convenient and it’s easy to get around. The room was great and the breakfast was amazing, western and Chinese food. They also have dinner a really good dinner buffet too. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Special Thanks to Joey, the receptionist. He spoke English really well and he was really friendly and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to have great time in Beidaihe."

"There are a few details that are quite surprising. One is that when I arrived at 11 o'clock in the morning, the hotel just had a newly completed room and I checked in directly. Second, no matter when I went in or out, there was a young man who took the initiative to help push the luggage. He was very active and enthusiastic. He pushed it to the room and to the car and helped move it. Third, the security guard in charge of the car was very good. From pointing out the parking location to patrolling the car at night, I saw a warm patrol card the next morning, which was very touching. The rest of the breakfast, hardware, and beds were good. Because the location is a bit off, it provides a standard five-star level at a four-star price, but it really doesn't matter if you drive yourself, it's just a matter of one foot on the accelerator. There are just a few takeaway options, and don't even think about buying medicine."

"A true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again."

"It is not far from the railway station, with convenient transportation and just avoiding the noise of the station. The room is not big, but it is enough for one person. The room type is not regular, but it is used just right. The bed is comfortable, and the quilt is neither thick nor thin, just suitable for this season, enough for guests to have a good sleep. It fully meets the maximum function of the hotel. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. Because of waiting for the bus, I asked the front desk to delay the check-out for two hours, and it was readily agreed. For people who come to Qinhuangdao from home, it is indeed a good choice."

"We stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels new and modern, with a delightful fragrance throughout—especially in the hallways. Our favorite aspects were the spacious room and the stunning bathtub overlooking the ocean. The kids absolutely loved it! The hotel's beachfront location is a major plus. Even though we visited in winter, we were lucky enough to experience snowfall on the beach, which felt surreal and added a magical touch to our stay. The indoor swimming pool on the top floor is decent, offering great views, while breakfast was plentiful and varied. We particularly enjoyed the pastries section. The Chinese restaurant next to the swimming pool is highly recommended—perfect for when you don’t feel like going out, and the food was delicious. The in-room dining service was also excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to try their outdoor swimming pool, which was closed during winter."
