VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME IN LIFE STAYING IN BACK PAKER S HOSTEL. VERY CLEAN , WELL MAINTAINED , WONDERFULL PEOPLE AT FRONT OFFICE. NICE LOCATION, & ENVIRONMENTALY FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. EASY 5MINUTE WALK TO ESPLANDE. I DONT HAVE RIGHT WORD TO SAY, AM SURROUNDED BY FEATHERED FRIENDS.

We enjoyed our stay, everyone was very friendly and helpful Room was clean and kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment Affordable accommodation and we will stay here again Handy location for walking to the beach, private car parking and lovely bbq area with seating and hammocks

Ik heb hier een nacht verbleven in een prive kamer en er heel erg van genoten. De hosts zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verder was de kamer netjes en schoon en was alles ecologisch. je kon ook hulp krijgen met het boeken van tours! Zeker een aanrader.

The experience was below average. Mosquitos in the bedroom, so I sufferred multiple mosquito bites. The shared bathroom was always occupied each time I wanted to have a shower or use the bathroom, at one time that it was vacant the toilet seat had been completely removed and put on the floor. You have to rent towels and sheets which is inconvenient. I had paid for 3 nights stay and left after one night and had to make other arrangements, due to the discomfort.

Well maintained and staff on hand always to help with all of my needs. I also once locked myself out. But the staff were quick to assist and get me out of bother without any fuss. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Hervey Bay

Had everything we needed. Room was very clean,spacious . Loved the wooden/tin feels. The bed was super comfortable. Shower was good, lots of pressure. Loved sitting outside on the chair listening to the wildlife. There’s an area where there’s hammock like chairs you could sit in and chill out. We didn’t use hot plates inside the room as we mainly ate out. The accommodation is about a 10min walk down to the beach….perfect. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Great value for money especially over the Easter break. If I had anything to nit pick about, for me would be the toilet paper!! Very thin. But that’s no biggy! . Just go buy my own would I go back and stay there again..…yes I would ☀️
