The room was spacious, the kitchen was renovated with everything you might need. On entry the room gave a fresh smell of crisp clean linen, it was tidy and we loved it! There is a cute leafy garden with hammocks to hang around with other lodgers.

From the moment we booked and asked for advice about tours and restaurants Ecolodge staff have gone that bit extra. Our upstairs room was clean and airy. Downstairs toilet and shower immaculately clean. We were offered a carpark and everything about the shared kitchen etc were clearly explained.

We enjoyed our stay, everyone was very friendly and helpful Room was clean and kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment Affordable accommodation and we will stay here again Handy location for walking to the beach, private car parking and lovely bbq area with seating and hammocks

Peaceful oasis, not far from the beach, lovely communal area/kitchen with plenty of space. Interesting 'vintage' decor and a great mix of people, young and old. Lots to do and plenty of Hervey Bay/K'gari activities on offer. Wonderful garden with hammocks and benches. If it was possible, I would rate the hostel as 4.5 stars...the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the wooden walls of our room had no insulation at all, which meant that we had to rely on the next door neighbour to be courteous...it was one of the cheaper rooms, but turned out to be pretty noisy, as our neighbours were talking until late. Apart from the room, I would highly recommend.

Had everything we needed. Room was very clean,spacious . Loved the wooden/tin feels. The bed was super comfortable. Shower was good, lots of pressure. Loved sitting outside on the chair listening to the wildlife. There’s an area where there’s hammock like chairs you could sit in and chill out. We didn’t use hot plates inside the room as we mainly ate out. The accommodation is about a 10min walk down to the beach….perfect. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Great value for money especially over the Easter break. If I had anything to nit pick about, for me would be the toilet paper!! Very thin. But that’s no biggy! . Just go buy my own would I go back and stay there again..…yes I would ☀️

We were overnighting in Hervey Bay before a whale watching trip, looking for a clean, convenient, simple, private bed for the night. Our double room at the Woolshed was all of that at a good price. Perfect. Our hosts were helpful with our enquiries and late check in. The Woolshed is a good clean budget option.
