If I could give it more stars, I would. Everything was perfect. It was amazing to see the harp player play on the lobby. My wife and I really loved it. The room was large and great! Every little thing was perfect!! The dining room was very nice. It was the best place we have stayed in.

stayed here for two days ，the hotel is in a good location and it's a relatively nice hot - spring hotel in the local area. Here are some aspects that I found a bit inconvenient during my check-in, and I'd like to share them with you. 1. The housekeeper suggested wearing the clothes and slippers provided by the hotel. It's a pity that all the sizes are the same. It doesn't matter much about the clothes, but the slippers are too big. They make it extremely difficult to walk and it's very easy to and fall. 2. There are a lot of steps in the room. An elderly person in my family tripped and fell when going to the toilet in the middle of the night. You must be careful at night. 3. Most of the customers are Japanese. As for payment, they can only pay in cash or use Visa or Master cards. UnionPay cards cannot be used here. 4. One last thing to pay special attention to is the door of the room. You need to lock it additionally both when entering and exiting the room. If you don't fasten all the locks from the inside when you come in, people outside will be able to open the door. We've already had the embarrassing experience of three of us lying in bed when a group of people suddenly burst in from outside. Please keep this in mind.

This was a quintessential resort, just the right size, with superb service and highly professional staff – truly the highlight of our trip. The onsen was incredible! With snowflakes gently falling from the sky onto us and into the water, all while nestled in a forest – it was exactly the Hokkaido onsen experience I had always dreamed of. The only downside was that the pillows were a bit too soft; unlike Noboribetsu, firmer pillows weren't a standard offering, and I had trouble falling asleep until quite late.

Our Japanese-Western style room was quite spacious and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of a snow-covered forest right outside the window. In the evenings, the lobby featured delightful harp performances and marshmallow roasting activities. The hotel is pet-friendly and even has a dedicated pet check-in area, which we found absolutely charming.

Jozankei is not far from Sapporo, a wonderfully relaxing town, and a convenience store is just a short walk from the hotel. Stepping outside, the scenery is absolutely stunning. As a southerner, it was my first time seeing such deep snow, and surprisingly, it wasn't cold at all! I imagine it would be just as beautiful in spring and autumn. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful; many of them were older gentlemen and ladies, and I'm truly grateful for their service! The buffet was also delicious. I hope to have the chance to visit again!

The staff are very nice and helpful. They can speak good English and that helps us a lot. We only spent a night at the hotel and had to leave at 6am in the morning for the airport. The hotel was very considerate and very kind to allow us to substitute the lunch buffet for the breakfast buffet which otherwise we would miss. The hotel was on the mountain and the cottage was nicely decorated. We spent a very romantic night in the snowy weather enjoying the cozy onsen. The food at the dinner buffet was very delicious and in a great variety. We are thinking about returning for a longer stay.

Excellent experience! We had a good time - great food, great service & onsen. The time spent there was limited (late check-in & early check-out), did not have the chance to explore the surrounding which is a pity.

Stay 4 -5 times all will return again. Room, Onsen ,pilow gallery, buffet dinner. All staff service mind very impress. Shuttle bus three times from makomanai station available for free.
