Dormy Inn Hotels in Sapporo

Location of hotel was at the furthest end of Susukino Street - only plus point was there is a limousine bus stop near it. Service is poor - kept insisting my booking was at Annex Hotel even after showing them my booking; no apologise even after checking. There is a smokey smell in the hotel - perhaps due to the aging building.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Its location right in Tanukikoji 4 makes it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. They have an onsen, offer free ice cream, and even provide ramen for dinner. Coffee is available in the lobby, but the real highlight is the breakfast. It's a five-star experience with an amazing seafood rice bowl featuring caviar, salmon, and all-you-can-eat scallops. They also have grilled sea snails, more scallops, and a wide variety of Japanese dishes. Don't forget the Hokkaido cantaloupe, which is super sweet and juicy, and the mini puddings, homemade by the hotel, are incredibly smooth and milky. Overall, I'd say it's even more comfortable than a five-star hotel.

Three things really stood out for us: 1. **Breakfast:** Consistently satisfying every day. The seafood and fresh ingredients were excellent, and the pudding, soup curry, and roasted pumpkin are all highly recommended. 2. **Natural Hot Spring:** Very convenient for a relaxing soak. It was never crowded and always clean. Complimentary ice pops or Yakult drinks were a lovely touch after coming out. 3. **Location:** Situated right at the doorstep of JR Sapporo Station, a major transportation hub. With a day pass, getting anywhere by public transport was incredibly convenient, and it was just as easy to return to the hotel from various spots, saving a lot of walking. If I ever return, I would definitely stay here again! One peculiar thing: When I booked the room through Ctrip, I received a special notice (pictured in 3 and 4) stating that a cleaning fee was not included and that towels were only provided for self-replacement by the door. However, this notice was completely absent when I booked through a different platform, which I found quite strange.
