Good experience, the rooms are large and beautiful views as well I stayed in 1817 for 5 nights, everything was great during my stay . Staff are very polite and helpful.

The location of the hotel is prime, however there are some construction sites near the hotel which made it quite noisy at times. Due to this, the hotel staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite (shown in the pictures) overlooking the beautiful view. We were also blessed to have Wendy, a client liaison, assigned to us to attend to our needs. She shared helped tips and activities. Though the view is stunning, there are helicopters flying to and from the island to which this hotel is looking. Be informed that this does spoil a peaceful atmosphere when being in the room or on the balcony. The food was great, as there was a wide variety of dishes and sitting outside topped off the holding feeling.

Excellent service from the moment I checked in. Eason was assigned to help me with any questions I had and he was very quick to respond. The room was excellent and spotlessly clean. The gym was also a great feature in this hotel which I used daily. I can't recommend this hotel enough and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Thanks to Butler Wendy who is helpful in helping us upgrade to a Bigger and Better Sea View Apartment. It comes with a bathtub on the balcony. We just arrived at the hotel (after a red eye flight), she recommended a Coconut Chicken Hot pot next to the hotel and even brought us there. She constantly checks in with us to ensure that our stay is comfortable. Pros: 1. The location is convenient near the Sanya City so traveling around for food and attractions is easy with DiDi (taxi). 2. The bed is comfy. The apartment comes with a washing machine, fridge and induction cooker (but may have to ask them for the pots) 3. Breakfast is a good spread with Chinese and Western food options. Most importantly, breakfast time is till 1 pm. Cons: 1. Wifi is very very weak, and can't be used at all. And being a tourist (foreigner) we have to use our precious data roaming. 2. There is no chair and table at the balcony which does not allow us to sit and relax at the balcony. 3. The Swimming pool strangely is located outside of the hotel in a public space. So it feels weird going down for a swim. 4. There is no beach front but there is a beautiful pathway leading to Phoenix Island, so the walking and jogging is pleasant.

In general, everything was good. Minnie was very helpful in renting us a car. Thank you.

Excellent location with view of Phoenix Island, easy access to the coastal trail along the bay and near to supermarket and night market. Butler Minnie was responsive and helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean. Highly recommended for a family vacation.

Very good hotel with a fantastic view of Phoenix Island. Was upgraded to a suite with two bedrooms on arrival. You can literally see the sunset from the balcony. The LED display on the buildings at Phoenix Island provided additional entertainment. Hotel is also walking distance to the night market and Sanya tran station. Housekeeper Kiki was very helpful and provided tips on where to go. Our request for additional towels was quickly attended to. Highly recommended!

Ideal with private airport pickup. Good reception at check-in. Large bright room with balcony. Unfortunately I lacked seating furniture on the balcony. The cleaning was good. The floor in the shower tilted wrong, which becomes a foot bath. Good breakfast times with good selection for everyone

Got a room with both seaview and mountain view. There is a soaking tub at the balcony which provides a good view while soaking. The hotel is old but clean, it needs an update to keep it fresh.

What impressed me most was the airport pick up service of which I valued it much as a woman solo traveller. Apart from that, I love the balcony seaview with a private bathtub for soaking and the butler service is so dear. Thanks for taking care of me well during my stay.

Overall satisfied with the hotel. Room is big, clean and bright with partial seaview and a bathtub at the balcony. Walking distance to First Market and Wang Hao Supermarket. Our butler Kiki was extremely helpful, she assisted to call and made reservation for our helicopter ride as the nearest base was closed unexpectedly. Breakfast was nothing to shout about, with local and a little western style, freshness of salads and desserts could be better. If you don’t mind a hotel without beach front but conveniently located, this is a good choice.

This hotel has spectacular sunset view, room is huge and check in staff are great. We are also assigned a butler whom we can directly communicate our request to. Our deposit fee are waived, which really made the check in process hassle free. Would 100% stay here again.
