The cleanliness, atmosphere, and staff were all excellent.
The view from the room was also amazing.
The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the plug for the hairdryer didn't work.

Canaves Sunday was the perfect finale to our Greek getaway. We spent 3 nights in total bliss—upgraded to the honeymoon suite, with a beautifully appointed room and a veranda view that made breakfast feel like a dream. The secluded location and serene pool overlooking the caldera offered the peace and luxury we were craving. Every staff member was warm and welcoming, and the service was flawless. Yes, it’s priced for the views—but the experience? Worth every euro. Ending our trip in Oia was pure magic.

I’ve traveled to 6 of the 7 continents. I spend 70-80 nights a year on the road and I’ve flown a million miles…times 2! This is to say I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels. Canaves Sunday was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. This isn’t even close. This is true on a few levels: (1) The staff was amazing. Incredibly helpful and kind (concierges like Harry and John), the mountain that carried our bags (Andy), the bartenders (like Dimetra), the waiters (like Gianis), and the sweet little lady that cleaned our room twice a day (I regret I didn’t get her name). They made us feel so at home and taken care of. Then (2) was the room itself. It was large and clean. It was decorated and laid out perfectly. Everything just felt perfect. They restock the snacks and water. The shower was incredible with its room and water pressure. In addition, (3) breakfast was included and it was superb. The options and amount was too much… in a good way. Lastly (4) the view was incredible. It was so good it felt fake. We couldn’t believe what we got to see from the pool area. (The pool was great by the way).

This hotel was beautiful, clean, and the staff was incredible. We were treated like royalty. Possibly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Special thanks to Harry, John, Demetria and Giannis. I’m sorry I don’t know everybody’s names, the people who worked at the hotel keeping it clean were also very kind.

There are no words to describe Canaves Sunday. It is the most beautiful resort with exceptional views and staff. Their attention to detail was impeccable. Highly recommend staying at this hotel if you want a stress free and romantic Santorini experience! Would definitely come back again!
