We liked the the place was located directly across from an open field where you could see the ocean and sunset/sunrise from both the front and back. We liked the small local village of Akrotiri village as it has some great restaurants- including:Caladera View, The Dolpins and Theofanis.
We didn't like that it was so close to the motorway traffic and every other hour during the ams you could hear ATV's and motorcycles revving their engines and blasting music. We thought it was ridiculous that we couldn't get a pool or beach towel. We understand that previous guests have stolen them, but then you take a deposit of 5 -10 euros and if it isn't returned on check out then you keep the money. We had to buy 2 towels for the beach/pool and we couldn't carry them in our carry on luggage (inconvenient and expensive). We didn't like that our mini fridge was noisy that we couldn't keep any food inside it as it was so old that the magnet didn't hold itself closed and it would open itself while we where gone. We thought it was sad and cheap we weren't offered a small water when we arrived as it was awfully hot. We also would of appreciated more guidance in regards to the public bus! The nearest stop to Fira/airport is a 15 min walk and we could of saved 45 euros x2 had we had know we could of taken a local bus for 2 euros per person! Also the "walk" to black beach is more like 30-40 min not 10,and there is NO sidewalk. Also the wifi didnt reach to our room! And the tv was verily static.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! IT IS DISGUSTING!! After 3 days of staying there I had to leave! Was booked to stay for 7 nights but it was unbearable.Those 3 days there were awful! Disgusting and very dirty. Hair on bed sheets and stains!! Filthy!!! Also came across bugs on the sheets. Filthy glass when I asked for a glass on reception. This hotel should not be advertised! It is below standards! You have been warned. The worse hotel ever stayed in. No partial refund given, the owners seem to think this place is acceptable to accommodate😡

Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto! non sembra di essere a Santorini nonostante una bella piscina ma senza ombrelloni e col rumore di una strada molto trafficata. La vistammare pubblicizzata sul sito e' in realta'vista sul mare Egeo, niente vista caldera, Forse da una sola stanza ai piani superiori vi potrebbe essere intravista caldera ma al di la' della trafficata strada per Akrotiri e spiaggia rossa. Diciamo che e'una casa arrangiata in maniera low cost a guet house. box doccia in cemento non strano per le cicladi ed economico, lo stesso per letto e lavandini. recente imbiancatura , una coperta colorara e qualche cuscino non giustificano il prezzo.. Acqua non desakinizzata in bagno. Aciugamani vecchi e ruvidissimi, non asciugano..lo ho fatto notare e hanno risposto che e' l'0acqua del'isola.. certo l'acqua dell'isola e l'estrema usura.. Molto rumore giorno e notte dalla strada... Consiglio evitare!

Vado a Santorini anche solo per pochi giorni da tanti anni e per me la struttura in cui alloggio deve essere vista Caldera . Non mi e’ stata concessa tale stanza ma altra con pista dall’esterno sull’Egeo … non e’ la stessa cosa… molto delusa! Stanza normalmente accogliente in piccola struttura , verosimilmente abitazione di greci trasformata in guest house .. All’autonoleggio di fianco proprietari della struttura sono stati molto scortesi!””mo hanno detto che l’errore è’ mio che non ho guardato la cartina , la struttura ha vista caldera ma tramita la strada ultra trafficata e decidono i proprietari chi può si soggiornare in tale stanza. Esperienza da non ripetere !

Anna was so kind and friendly and helpful!! The whole property was amazing. The owner was kind and helped us with everything. They helped us rent a car the days we were there and the breakfast was soooo delicious!! Great place to stay, highly recommend it 😁

Me and my husband went to this hotel for 2 weeks for a relaxing break although it wasn’t the hotel rep was showing me online I was glad to go to such a lovely villa, mother and daughter run the villa together, rooms cleaned everyday clean sheets regularly and clean towels daily, nothing was to much trouble they gave us a kettle , plates, and cutlery for the room to acomadte us as we was expecting a different hotel with all this already in the room, they asked us what they could do to make us happy as this wasn’t what we thought we booked, lovely people would definitely go again it was very relaxing nothing was to much trouble. This is an absolute gem for travellers to Santorini. It’s a unique location between the crater rim and sea in the south - a breath of fresh air away from the busy tourist spots. Even better, you don’t need a 5 star budget to experience the best of Santorini by making this your base.
The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. There is a small fridge in the room but no coffee/tea but you can get these from reception breakfast area. The sparkling pool and surrounding views of the sea and vineyards are a stunning outlook, with lots of places to sit and relax. Akrotiri and the southern beaches are down the road The warmth and hospitality of Zeta and other staff made it extra special.
We had a car but there’s a car rental place right nearby, or the local bus service goes past.
The sunsets are definitely a unique opportunity to get a fresh view of the whole caldera. We loved staying here. Our new favourite area of Santorini.
