Smy Mediterranean White Santorini

Terrible service. Did not tell us the correct prices for transfers. Were not available. Towels never clean. Shower was overflowing all over the bathroom. And to top it all off, they made us move rooms on our last night without notice. Came back to the hotel and had to pack in a hurry to quickly tranfer rooms. Would never return there or recommend the hotel.

We we went with a big tour group and there was a horrible sewer smell in lots of rooms. When we brought it to the attention of the staff they didn't address it. It was only after repeated complaints that they compensated us with a bottle of wine. The pool was very pretty but needs updates and repairs. Everything was dated. The location was very remote. I do not recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel through loveholidays. The hotel was nice, reception staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. My room was very big for a solo traveller which was nice….loved the space. I had a twin bed, very comfortable and spacious. Lovely bathroom/shower. No complaints there. Just outside my room, there were rolls of mini pools/hot tubs, which is shared with your next door neighbour. It was quite quiet when I went so it was just me…loved that. Breakfast was included in my room rate and was ok, not that many selection. Some mornings I opted out and went to Louis Mini Market just down the road, about 2 minutes walk. I love that market, the smoothies, sandwiches and other goodies were so nice and made a change from the hotel food. Comes in handy if you fancied something quick and couldn’t wait to go into Kamari to eat. Overall, the hotel was very nice, staff were lovely, the location of the hotel was a bit out of the way, but near the airport. There’s a bus stop just down the road which takes you to the main bus station in Fira for €2 or you can book taxi for €36. I’d recommend if you want to be in a quiet area.

This hotel is ok if you do not want anything else around you. If you needed to go into Kalamari you need a taxi costing 15 euros each way The hotel room itself was very disappointing there was a number of issues that I reported, the day I arrived, which were not actioned. After complaining when back from holidays issues were then resolved Sorry would not return or recommend to anybody

Was really looking forward to this trip. On the plus side a gorgeous classic greek hotel, white with lots of lovely features. Windmill room is stunning (but no balcony so if you like sitting outside at night, not the room for you). Very clean - maids in every day and never any bother at all. Breakfast, after the initial disappointment of no freshly cooked omelettes, was actually really good and varied from cooked meats to muesli and pastries. On the negative side and some of these will just be preference. Right next to airport so you hear planes at various points in the day (didn’t bother us). Hotel is remote and nearest town (Kamari) to walk to was 40mins. Did find a couple of nice restaurants locally but in middle of nowhere. You need to hire a car if you want to really explore and see all the sights. Bus services were half decent (€2 a trip) and everything starts and ends in Fira. Our hotel told us last bus home was 8pm. Taxis scarce and Uber min charge is around €36 euros. Santorini did not disappoint at all. Weather lovely, history lovely and food across the island lovely. Mainly stuff to greek but had an amazing italian (cacio e pepe) on the last night in Fira. Highly recommend.

This is by far the worst hotel that it has been my misfortune to ever stay in, the rooms were filthy dirty and we returned home on the next available flight. How this hotel has a 4 & a half rating on your site is unbelievable 🤬🤬. This was a surprise 60th birthday present that my partner had paid for

Nice relaxing hotel. Food was decent - B&B included was a buffet. Snacks from the pool bar were tasty and decent portions for the money. Room was a decent size with aircon and cleaned daily. Always able to get a sun bed by the pool. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

First, let me give credit where it is due! Vasilis the lifeguard was AMAZING!!!! He was so helpful while we were at the hotel and he also gave us the best suggestions for places to go while we were there. We got the best experience from his recommendations! The whole group was so grateful. Definitely reach out to him if you are there. The hotel manager wasn't very friendly though. She dont really listen or empathise with the guests. I dint get her name but she had short hair. Watch out for her. Also be careful what room you book. Some of the images on the website are not what they actually have there. They have these tiny rooms in the basement that make you feel like a prisoner not a hotel guest. The rooms have not bee remodelled, showers dont drain as fast so they flood and one of the people travelled with said she spotted a bug in another room! The rest of the staff was OK but the ladies who help clean and the guy at the bar were also very helpful and very nice!
