We visited in mid-March during the off-season, so there were hardly any tourists on Santorini itself. The hotel had a spectacular view, so we were able to take as many photos as we wanted! (The outdoor jacuzzi was not in operation.) It was so quiet at night, and there were no staff at the reception after 9pm, so it was a little scary. If you are traveling as a couple, I don't think it will be a problem at all.

The location is not bad, 10mins walk from the center of Fira. With good view of Fira.
But they don’t reply to email when I asked for transfer service. Only get my reply by calling the hotel. However, there is no confirmation after I send my details they requested. I sent few more email but still no reply. The driver just appeared in the airport.
The women reception staff is not nice while the guy is very nice, helping us to call a car for moving to Oia and helped us to take our luggage.

Per la terza volta in 10 anni abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel a gestione familiare. Nektarios segue tutto con attenzione e molti dettagli sono migliorati. Prezzo alto ma la vista caldera è così. Molto gentile e pronta ad ascoltare le esigenze del cliente la receptionist. Lo consiglio.

Il Sunset hotel gode di una incredibile posizione nella zona privilegiata di Firostefani, tutte le camere si affacciano sulla terrazza con splendida vista sulla Caldera. Le stanze, diverse tra loro, sono ordinate e pulite, arredate con semplicità, ma dotate di tutti i comfort e i letti sono particolarmente comodi. Nek ed i suoi collaboratori fanno di tutto per soddisfare le richieste degli ospiti, il giorno della partenza, ci ha cortesemente lasciato una camera d'appoggio fino al tardo pomeriggio. Al mattino viene servita in una saletta o all'esterno della camera, una ricca e genuina colazione. Ottimo, a mio parere, il rapporto qualità / prezzo

Les vues sur la mer et la Caldeira sont spectaculaires. Beaucoup de bons restaurants à proximité. Le personnel est aimable et serviable. Mais le tout s’arrête là. La chambre était très petite, peu accueillante et extrêmement humide. Les draps, oreillers, serviettes et même nos vêtements étaient constamment humides. La salle de bain est minuscule et malpropre. Le petit déjeuner, qui est servi par la femme de chambre qui ne parle que le grec dans un endroit minuscule situé à côté de la réception de l’hôtel où l’on retrouve 3 tables collées les unes sur les autres, est pitoyable. Les œufs, les rôties et la café étaient tous froids. Après 21jours en Grèce, je peux affirmer que celui-ci est de loin le pire qui nous a été offert.

Great customer service! Knowing that we had an earlier check-out than breakfast time, they went out of their way by preparing us breakfast takeaway packs which we ate at the airport. The room was spotless and Sunset hotel is what it really is and you have front seat views!

Magnificent view, clean and well maintained property, good location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Can improve on food and introduce some variety to breakfast menu. All in all good experience.
