Amaze Suites

Absolutely fabulous location with fantastic views. Hot tubs are excellent. Beds and furnishings are of a decent standard. Pools are very good. There is a general lack of attention to detail about this property. A bit worn in places. Some easy fixes to tiles/flooring areas would benefit the easiness on the eye around the pool. Housekeeping staff need decalcifying cleaning products for the rooms. Some toilets and sinks appear dirty. A shift in the lighting in the restaurant would seriously impact the evening ambience. It’s lit up like a dentist’s waiting room at the moment. Some table downlighters would work well. Breakfast is adequate. Breakfast Coffee has uht milk. Ugh. Be warned. Evening meals. Meh. Despite going half board we ate out. Very poor limited choice of main meals, only three. No red wine by the glass. V poor. Buy a bottle or do without. The club sandwich was distinctly ordinary, at best. Smart TVs need their programmes updated. Couldn’t cope with mirroring or logging on to my Netflix, Prime or Disney accounts. Kept crashing with error sign to update the TV programming. With a little spend it wouldn’t take much to get the standards to excellent. You pretty much need to walk everywhere. Not for the infirm. Use only recognised taxis. There are a lot of dodgy “taxis”. There is a local bus stop at the hotel entrance. Good service. 2 euro. Runs every 30 minutes. 40 euro for a taxi to most places. It feels much safer in the bus rather than cowboy taxis.

Very nice place with a nice view, hats off to thomas who helped us from the beginning of our stay until we left, very nice and respectful receptionist.

The place needs renovation. But staff are nice 👍 Staff were lovely, kind and accommodating. Service was great. However after using the plunge pool for about 10 minutes, I developed a rash and itchiness on my legs. They did a thorough check following this incident. The drain inside the bathroom also leaked and the water flooded our room a little. This was also fixed immediately and we were told it’s due to the poor sewage system of the island. View was amazing however place is a little run down. Pictures on the website were deceiving but they will be renovating soon as we were told. Overall, the staff friendliness made our stay a lot better. Thank you.

The staffs here were very friendly, the hotel is next to the oia Fira trails, parking is free

Amazing so far, beautiful place, views are stunning, lovely rooms, all with some sort of hot tub or plunge pool… Poolside is fabulous with plenty of room and again an amazing view. Staff have been unreal, nothing is too much for them, I was up and out early, I didn’t take, on my return the staff made sure I was ok and did I want croissants, coffee etc by the pool.. It’s been wonderful so far and I do think I will be coming back.. Thank you 🌞😊

Superb service & staff! Caldera views to die for. The selling feature of Amaze Suites was the staff friendliness and superb service during our stay. We didnt want to leave! Breakfast was brilliant. The views from the hotel pool and from our private patio of the Caldera was magical! You wake up to the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets every single day.
