Location, location, location! Absolutely spectacular. Wonderful views from the room, terraces, breakfast room and infinity pool. Pool is really big and deep, allows for a sporty swim. Staff is very kind. Free private parking lot is included, so is access to the gym (by the parking). Porter will come to assist you with luggage. Rich and authentic breakfast.

Our stay at Honeymoon Petra Villas was nothing short of magical. Perched high above the caldera, the views were absolutely breathtaking. The cave-style suite was elegant and peaceful, with every detail carefully thought out. The breakfast/pool pool area overlooking the Aegean was a dream, and the staff made us feel truly special from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect mix of luxury, privacy, and authentic Santorini charm. An unforgettable place to stay.

We stayed 4 nights at Honeymoon Petra and had a wonderful and memorable time. Although most hotels on the west coast of Santorini have good views, the views from HP are breathtaking, which, coupled with the large pool and the extensive external dining areas make for a really relaxing and 'feel good' atmosphere both by day and at night. The breakfast is very good and evening meals are outstanding, but it is the exceptional service we received from all the staff which really makes this hotel stand out, starting with the welcome email which came immediately after booking, through to the hugs and waves we were given as we left. All the staff deserve a mention, but we are very grateful to Duane for carrying our heavy suitcases up and down the inevitable Santorini steps, to the lady from Northern Greece and the gentleman from Bangladesh for the kind and attentive service we got at dinner and breakfast, to Apostolos at Reception for ensuring we had everything we needed and a special thank you to Dimitrea, who was always there making sure everything was just perfect.

We will be checking out tomorrow and this really has been the most unforgettable honeymoon at Honeymoon Petra Villas. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view — truly one of the most amazing sights we’ve ever seen amazing views of the sunsets each evening and waking up to that view the volcano every morning felt like a dream. Our room, complete with a private jetted tub, was exactly what we needed after our wedding. It was romantic, relaxing, and gave us the perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The staff made our experience even more special. They were beyond wonderful — so kind, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Every interaction left us feeling cared for and welcomed, and nothing was ever too much trouble. This place is more than just a hotel; it’s an experience. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of stunning scenery, incredible accommodations, and world-class service, Honeymoon Petra Villas is the place to be. I booked a higher-priced room with free cancellation, but missed the deadline due to unexpected travel issues. I contacted the hotel well in advance, yet they charged me the full amount. After several conversations, they offered to let me come at the end of the season for an additional 50% — which says a lot about their priorities. If they already had my payment, why not offer a simple voucher to return upon availability? That would have shown real customer care. Unfortunately, this left a very negative impression.
