Modern but the lvp flooring makes a lot of noise if you have a room above you. Normal walking in shoes and sliding chairs is loud and annoying. If someone takes a shower adjacent to or above you, it is thunderous! Not a peaceful night. Beds are too soft. Nice breakfast, however. Delayed check in for many of us at the end of a long day since their internet system was down. We went to eat dinner and came back so they could figure out what rooms to assign and escort people to their rooms.

With many years of I-95 road trips under our belts, we’ve learned how difficult it can be to find accommodations along the route that aren’t aging or poorly maintained. This Tru, which appears to be just a few years old, is a welcome addition. The property is located right off I-95, making it ideal for overnight stops; no exaggeration, we were back on the highway within a minute of exiting the parking lot. The hotel has a diverse mix of clientele, ranging from fellow road trippers to business travelers, golfers, and even a huge family reunion. The morning breakfast was well stocked with a variety of items (best selection I’ve seen from a Tru) and Cracker Barrel is a quick walk across the street if you’re looking for a convenient dinner option. Our room was impeccably clean - honestly one of the cleanest rooms I’ve seen in a long time - and had a ton of lighting, a rarity in hotels these days. The room was on the side of the building facing I-95 and we didn’t find the highway to be bothersome - some mild noise here and there, but easy to tune out. The bed linens and towels were very soft / fresh; the design was standard Tru fare. As a minor note, a couple of the outlets in the room didn’t work, though this didn’t really impact our stay. Overall, we had a favorable stay at this Tru and would keep it in mind for future road trips.

We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return when we are in the area. The staff was friendly and inviting. Very affordable as well!

My short getaway Although my stay was a short amount of time, I Njoy it a lot. I did have an opportunity to get in the pool, which I Njoy. Next time much longer time to stay.
