Loved this hotel. Just perfect service from the first moment and super clean. Lovely touches such as breakfast snacks provided in the room, and sweets as a thank you on departure. Couldn’t have been better

It is very dishonest to charge almost 150 euros a night for such a small and terrible room! Before entering the room it smells a bit like sewer, despite some deodorant sticks trying to cover the bad smell. The bed base is smaller than the already small French mattress...so if you sit on the edge of the bed, you fall to the floor! (see photo) When you sleep, you have to be careful not to charge your head as well as your phone, since the outlet is virtually on the pillow! (see photo) Incredibly there’s only one sink and it’s outside the bathroom, with the soap dispenser over a meter away from the sink! (see photo) The sliding door of the bathroom is smaller than the opening (so from the outside you can see everything...pure poetry!) and has no handles and no track at the bottom, so every time you go to the bathroom and close the door, it feels like the door is falling on your head! (see photo) Finally, there's practically no parking, as the hotel has very few spaces, and it's extremely difficult to park in the street. The only two good things were that the room was clean and close to the city center...nothing else!

This hotel was very disappointing. The room was tired and required some TLC, particularly the bathroom, shower missing a door, rust on radiator, long dark hairs behind the door. The balcony was very, very small with no privacy from neighbouring room. The swimming pool is more an ornamental pool. There was no flexibility on timings even if you arrive 10 minutes before 3pm! Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

You should absolutely stay here if you are considering this hotel. Daniel and Katia, the two staff members with whom I engaged the most, are so professional and so genuinely kind. (they would even bring me by my name every day!) I stayed for one full week in a room with a beautiful balcony and wonderful amenities. They seem to think of everything that you might need and they go above and beyond in terms of what they provide in the room. They’re also very generous with the coffee and snacks that they provide each day and it wasn’t unusual for me to be asked by the team if I needed anything else. They genuinely wanted to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location, in a spectacular neighborhood, is absolutely perfect and convenient to everything. Somehow you’re close to everything but it’s still a quiet peaceful street, and you really feel immersed in the real life of the residents. In the end, I think it is the staff who makes a place special and that was my experience here. I can’t thank them enough, and I definitely will return!

We booked a so-called ‘Superior Room with Terrace’. According to the hotel website, this was an 18 m² room with a queen-size bed. The sample pictures showed a wardrobe, a desk and an en-suite bathroom. Upon arrival, we were given a 14 m² room (plus a small balcony) with an open bathroom, no desk, no wardrobe and a 1.40 m bed. If this is supposed to be ‘superior’ and ‘queen size’, I would like to see what the lower standard is... 1.20m bed and a portable toilet in the shower? It is clear that we were simply given a cheaper room. This is also evident from the sample pictures of the cheapest category, ‘Classic Room’. These correspond exactly (!) to the standard of the room we were given. After the first night, we complained. The management played dumb and insisted that we had a room in the category we had booked. At first, they even said that the ‘Superior Room’ category did not exist. We asked to either be given a room that corresponded to the category we had booked and paid for, or to be allowed to leave with a refund for the second night. This was refused. Instead, we were actually given an 18 square metre room with a queen-size bed. A Superior Room at last! In other words, the room category that supposedly didn't even exist in the morning when we first complained... Now it appeared like Sirius Black's house in the Harry Potter novel. Magic! This time, however, without a terrace. So we were once again fobbed off with a room below the standard we had booked and paid for. In addition, we were offered a total refund of 40 euros, which, firstly, did not correspond to the price difference between the room categories at all and, secondly, was of course not paid to us in the end ... The hotel itself has pros and cons. The location is okay, and the building is in good condition. But the management is simply dishonest. We therefore strongly advise against booking this hotel. If you do, only take the cheapest category. Then at least you won't be overcharged. We have filed an official complaint against the hotel with the Spanish tourism authority. Anyone who has had a similar experience here is encouraged to do the same. This is the only way to put a stop to such practices.
