This hotel is nestled in the heart of the old city, surrounded by ancient, narrow alleyways. It is a beautiful old mansion, rich with its own history, and is run by a welcoming family. The hotel offers basic facilities, including air conditioning. The courtyard is particularly charming, with a fountain, lush plants, and vintage ornaments that create a delightful atmosphere. Located close to the attractions and city center of Urfa, it's an ideal base for exploration. Don’t miss the chance to try Menengiç coffee (Turkish pistachio coffee) at Gümrük Hanı, in just a few minutes’ walk!

For me, the best hotel in Urfa (I used 3, including the El Ruha). It could be improved but the niggles are dwarfed by the beautiful, peaceful location and the helpful staff. The room was a little tired but had all you need. The wifi was rather slow. What really makes it is the tranquility and welcome in the courtyard.

Centuries old stone house in Urfa's old town is converted into this fabulous boutique hotel. Location cannot be better - set in a maze of tiny streets within walking distance of all Urfa attractions. Rooms are nicely decorated with everything you need. Hearty breakfast is served in the central courtyard by a calming fountain. At the same place you can relax in the evening with free coffee or tea (no alcohol allowed, nor served). All employees likewise the young owner are so kind, willing to help, serve and assist you whatever you need. TIP: if driving DO NOT follow Google maps as they'll guide you through tiny unpassable streets for cars. Just park by the main street and walk to the hotel - staff member will escort you with your car to their private parking lot (impossible to find on your own, just memorize how to reach it).

This is an oasis in old Urfa crowned by family service and a beautiful Islamic mansion converted to hotel is magic and humble experience. Murad and Frat made our life easier from walking us to his favorite place to eat to taxi coordinations. The authentic Turkish breakfast was plentiful.
