"We arrived at the hotel after an early flight, and the front desk lady was so kind as to upgrade our room. Although we had to wait a few hours for it to be ready, the ocean-facing room we finally got was absolutely stunning! The hotel is elegant, with great beaches and surf. The food at both Toba and Nova restaurants was excellent, reasonably priced, and the service was spot on. They even thoughtfully prepared breakfast boxes for us before we left the next day, which was a really thoughtful touch. It would have been perfect if the room had more bottled water."

"Really liked the vibe of the place. Simple, clean, peaceful. We had a couple of minor issues with our room that got fixed promptly. Amenities could be considered limited compared to bigger resorts like Shangri La or Intercontinental (no gym, no complimentary water) but that was okay for us. One of the folks working here let me take my pick of the books from the luggage room to take home. The older gentleman sculpting things by the beach was also a pleasure to hang out and chat with. Wish we spent more than 2 days here!"

"Definitely the best stay we had during our 2 weeks on the Fiji. The staff is very friendly (which is quite common in Fiji) but they way the make you feeling to be a part of the family was exceptional. Furthermore the activities and the entertainment, which are included in the price is, are fun and really nice to watch. If we come back to Fiji one day, we will definitely come back to the Likuri Island Resort."

"The room service was quite poor. We check-in and no towels were present in the room. We called room service to request for towels and we didn’t get them after 2 hours of our request. Even after waiting for the 2 hours, only 2 shower towels were provided and nothing more. Amenities were good overall."

"I recently stayed at Gecko's Resort and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. I especially appreciated the little touches like free DVDs available to borrow – a nice bonus for quiet evenings in. The location is great too – just a short distance from the beautiful Sigatoka Sand Dunes and the Pacific Ocean, so there’s no shortage of things to see and do nearby. One downside, however, is the Wi-Fi. Access requires a voucher, and if you're streaming videos (like on YouTube), the data only lasts around two hours. This was a bit inconvenient, especially in an age where connectivity is expected to be seamless. Overall, Gecko's Resort is a great option for a peaceful getaway with a few nice extras. Just be prepared to manage your internet usage or consider unplugging and enjoying the serene surroundings."

"A great trip. The hotel is nice and the location is good. The front is Yadua Bay. It takes 5 minutes to the small town of Xinkatuoka. There is no Chinese restaurant. The Chinese restaurant of Xinkatuoka on Ctrip closed early. There are grey-blue magpie sea snakes in the distance, so be careful. There are many small crabs by the sea. It is recommended to eat in the hotel restaurant. We ate breakfast on the first day and it was not delicious. Later I bought a rice cooker for 35 Fiji coins to cook my own porridge in the morning. But lunch and dinner were still very good. I ate beef rice for 7 days. The rest is attached"
