The USD $35 / night mandatory extra destination fee they charge during checkin is absolutely not worth it for us. Considering most hotel offer free WiFi and free bottle of drinking waters, the rest of the included items with this extra fee does not used by us. If this could be inform and charged before booking, that at least set our expectations right. We will definitely not coming back to this hotel again.

We got charged a few extras on arrival called destination fee which wasn't clear when booking. It didn't give us any extra benefits for the money not worth it but had to pay it.

I had some initial problem with my booking but there were very good to solve them . Be aware there are renovation works happening at the time of this review and it can get noisy . The hotel and trip.com helped me with my feedback.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf, and the location is amazing. But parking is extremely expensive, 75 per night plus tax. But the three window smashing was too prevalent, so I reluctantly parked in the hotel for two nights.

This week we stayed at Hyatt House San Jose Airport, Hyatt Centric Fishermans Wharf and Hyatt House Santa Clara
I am very satisfied with San Jose Airport and Santa Clara, but Fishermans Wharf is the only thing that makes me angry and I feel I have to write a special review to reflect it.
The angry part is about the service, and the reasons for dissatisfaction are as follows:
1. When I checked in that day, they said they were still cleaning and asked me if I wanted to change rooms. I decided to wait and go out for a walk. As a result, when I came back the second time, they said there were no rooms and forced me to accept the change from the original king-size double bed to two single beds.
2. The room I booked comes with two breakfasts, but I didn't get any meal coupons when I checked in. When I returned to my room, I called the front desk and they told me that they forgot to give it to me and asked me to go down and get it. When I went to get it, I was only given a meal voucher for one person. When I asked about it, they asked me if I was staying for only one night.
