We chose the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway primarily for its location, and it did not disappoint! The hotel is situated very conveniently right near the starting point of the cable car, which made getting around San Francisco incredibly easy and fun.
The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were generally helpful.
The only notable drawback was the breakfast. While adequate, the menu was the same every single day throughout our stay. If you plan on having breakfast at the hotel for multiple mornings, be prepared for limited variety.
Overall: Highly recommended for travelers who prioritize location and transportation access. If varied breakfast options are essential, you might want to consider dining out nearby.

Perfect location.I had a king corner room with city&bay view.Amazing.Housekeeping every day.Restaurant on side.Coin washer on 6 floor.Very good west style breakfast

The hotel location is good, and the room had a great view of the city. There is trader joes and whole food nearby. Water dispenser and microwave is available at the basement of the hotel which was quite convenient
