The hostel is inside quiet alley of the old city, which needs like 10 min walk from any bus/tram stations but easy to locate nevertheless.
All rooms are facing the inner countryard so it’s quiet and peaceful. Room (and bed) is large and A/C is strong. Private bathroom is tiny but functioning with hot shower and hair dryer.
Breakfast is good and drinking water is available to refill.
Receptionist/manager/staff are all friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and sightseeing suggestions.

Fantastic little hostel. It’s got an amazing location. I had a solo room which was lovely.
Had to share the bathroom with another room but that was no big issue.

The hotel is located at the centre of the city of Samarqand. The Registon, Siyob Bazaar, many restaurants and stores are all within a walking distance. Very convenient.
There was a patio at the centre of the hotel where I enjoyed breakfast. It was quite nice place and the meal itself was also tasty.
The only thing I didn't like is the ladder of the bunk bed. It would be better to have one more step at the bottom of the ladder.

We stayed at the Old Radio Hostel for two days and were very pleased. I would like to mention the beautiful courtyard covered with ivy, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious. The hostel is located in a great location - Registan Square is just a 5-minute walk away, and all the main attractions are within walking distance. The staff is pleasant and helpful, always ready to help and answer any questions. The hostel interior is decorated in a vintage style, which gives this place a special charm. Definitely recommend visiting!

It's more expensive than most hostels in Samarkand, but you do get what you pay for. the hostel seems fairly new and everything is well maintained. it's a small hostel and it's almost always fully booked, so it's easy to meet people. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. The location is great too, it's right at the historic center so most attractions are within walking distance. I guess my only gripe is the limited number of toilets. You have to wait a while if the dorm room is full.

Замечательный отель! В самом центре Самарканда , до Регистан и Биби Ханум можно дойти пешком за несколько минут. Хорошие жесткие матрасы, очень чисто, традиционный дом со внутренним двором, очень уютно. Хозяевам отеля - отдельное спасибо! Очень приятные, готовые все рассказать и показать, дали карту с достопримечательностями и нетуристичечкими ресторанчиками, где оказалось вкусно. Помогли решить организационные вопросы. Очень вкусные и сытные завтраки во внутреннем дворе под тенью листвы в компании канарейки :)
