Overall it is a solid 4.5 star hotel and experience. The location is unbeatable, with breath-taking beach and sea view just off the front desk, as well as our beach room. The beach room is highly recommended for someone into the ocean view. The facility and staff are great. The Mercado even sells medicine (we got Gasvicon) which my wife could use the day we were there. The only downside that makes it not a full 5 star is that the room, decoration, and furniture are a bit outdated.

From start to finish this resort delivered everything and more. We stayed in an Ocean View Villa /Apartment and it was modern, clean and well kept. The staff were exceptional and the level of customer service is high. We loved the My Martinal website - which should be standard for any resort. It allows you to book everything from your phone and you have direct access to their concierge via WhatsApp. It's very convenient. The facilities are superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the padel courts and the mini golf. The gym is small but functional and we also enjoyed the choice of the pools. The SPA is a nice quiet spot if you fancy some me time or enjoy meditation. The beach is also lovely with pods and sun loungers in a plot reserved for hotel guests. The resort is designed for young famalies but our teens still found lots to do from the gym, bike station through to the blue room - which offered a pool table, ping pong to an arcade and PS5. The restaurants and bars were all good but slightly overpriced. However, we still enjoyed the food and the service was great. The staff can't do enough for you. Although there were a lot of young children, there is so much space here that you won't notice it. Even in peak season, when we visited, you'll only notice the main pool is busy. The other pools and facilities were quiet most of the time. Highly recommended for families but especially those with younger children.

Le Martinhal est un Resort hôtelier extrêmement bien organisé en particulier pour les enfants (je dirai spécialement tous les enfants de moins de 12 ans). Nous avons séjourné dans une villa avec 3 chambres, grand salon, salle à manger et cuisine équipée. C’est juste le bon compromis avec un villa privative tout en bénéficiant du service hôtelier. Le personnel est très agréable dans les kids club (mention spéciale pour le club des 2/4 ans..!😉, les sports et dans les restaurants. Les vues, les balades à vélo, les randonnées, la plage ! Tout est parfait et les services de l’hôtel facilitent beaucoup les choses pour rendre le séjour agréable. Félicitations à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel. Sincèrement, Marc Pestel-Debord

Just back from a 7 night stay. We stayed in a 3 bedroom garden house. The house itself was very outdated. No 5 star toiletries included that you would expect in the bathrooms. Just the basic shampoo and conditioner. Every restaurant for all meals had to be booked days in advance especially if you wanted to dine in the As Dunas restaurant. This is very inconvenient when you have young families as things can change on the day. One of the mornings that I booked breakfast I got an email to say they couldn’t fulfil my reservation even though I had a booking confirmation 3 days prior. Whilst the hotel offers a kids clubs (all additional cost) there is no evening entertainment which is very disappointing. On a positive note the staff were extremely friendly and the food was very good. For the price of this hotel for me it definitely wasn’t worth it and absolutely not a 5 star resort.
