"This hotel was awesome. This was my very first time to it and you can tell that the staff are doing there jobs cleaning! I got on the bed and you can smell the cleaning detergent on the covers and sheets. I also LOVED the elevator there. It was smoother than hospital elevators. I got on and pressed 2. It went up the 2 button turned off and I'm thinking did we move??? And yes it seemed like you were in a Lincoln with air ride suspension. It taken me atlest 4 or 5 times until I could feel a soft moving of the elevator. But they also have an awesome pancake maker! You wave your hand in front of the sensor and it makes one inside the machine and it comes down a belt and lands onto your plate Also the staff will come to you and see how you are doing and take your plate."

"Do not stay here! I travel for work and am loyal to Marriott. This is by far the worst Fairfield I have stayed in. It is in such rough shape. From broken toilet to elevator and pool. 20 mins to check in due to broken card reader despite having my card on file."

"Do not stay here! The good = room was big and clean and jacuzzi was nice Bad outweighs the good = pool does not feel heated at all, the jets on the hot tub do not work, one jet only makes a few bubbles, when pointed it out, we were told that’s how it should be. Stayed 3 nights, every day we went out, came back and key card wouldn’t work, had to get a new one. The toilet was clogged and would not flush. Maintenance came and said it was fixed, he smelled like alcohol. Went to bathroom in the middle of night and it would not flush, was afraid it’d overflow. Called in the am, was told we could just use the bathrooms near the desk 😳. Said maintenance would come after 7. We left at 8, but when we came back it was fixed. The breakfast is awful and the same every day. Watery eggs, burnt sausage, a casserole, little potatoes, biscuits, cereals, bagels, a little refrigerator with a gallon of milk, pitchers of juice, cream cheese, and butter. No oatmeal, yogurt, bacon would’ve been nice. The coffee maker in the lobby poured out grounds, told us it was broken, my husband told her, try cleaning it out and get all the grounds out - then it worked later when he went back. Hard to find a parking place when you come back at night, because of restaurant & bar. Only 2 handicap spaces near entrance to rooms. Outside garbage overflowing (but it was bagged). Some of the staff were very rude. *The manager was nice and did come to our room to check on us."

"I LOVE this location. Candlewood seems like they think of everything a traveler or family could possibly need to be comfortable. Free guest laundry was convenient and much appreciated. Rooms are exceptionally clean with high ceilings and large windows. Just a lovely place to stay overall. Front desk is friendly and efficient during my check in, and the general manager, Spring, was knowledgeable and super helpful during my stay. 10 out of 10. Will be back and I do recommend!!"

Candlewood Suites SMYRNA - NASHVILLE by IHG

"This location is dated and needs lots of care. The shower head had black mold that I had to clean off before I could shower. The microwave handle was broken making it difficult to even open. The drain was slow in the sink and the furniture was very worn and dingy. The window coverings had to be clipped together to keep room private and light out. Overall, just not a place I would ever stay again."
