The most beautiful place at the sea in Istria. Perfect location for sport activities and relax.

Stayed with the half board package in July 2025. Room was lovely, beds comfortable and was quiet enough that we didn't experience any disruption. Pool area was great and always found enough sun beds. Yes its a saltwater pool, but it was fine and made no difference to our experience. So the food was actually quite nice, our only negatives were the queuing - something needs to be done about flow and room layout - and water, it was frustrating that at breakfast you had easy access to water included with the meal but for dinner it cost. Especially annoying when the tap water is drinkable in this region. Overall the trip has sparked further interest in Croatia and we will return to explore other areas.

After a wonderful week of sailing from Zadar, we wanted to relax in Istria and chose the Eden Hotel in Rovinj. The hotel is situated in a sheltered bay with its own beach and a lovely large garden/park with a large swimming pool. The garden is beautiful, offering plenty of space and tranquility. The beach and the pool area are very crowded, and all the sunbeds are very close together. To our surprise the outdoor pool was closed for maintenance on July 28th and 29th! This was during peak season! This wasn't announced beforehand when booking, nor even at check-in at reception. We could use the indoor pool at the wellness area, but it was very crowded and not very relaxing. When we woke up after the first night, a terrible stench came from the bathroom; we couldn't stay there. The hotel advised us not to use the bathroom and that they would send a maintenance technician. By the end of the afternoon, the problem had been resolved, or so we thought. After one of us took a quick shower, the bathroom was full of water. A repairman came again and told us that a colleague had installed a device earlier that day that had eliminated the smell, but that the water couldn't drain. Fortunately, this repairman managed to fix it properly. The room (312) is otherwise fine but not special and the balcony is small. The bathroom has a frosted glass wall facing the bed. The design is nice, but if someone turns on the bathroom light at night, the whole room is illuminated, waking the other person. The breakfast buffet has plenty of choice and the quality is good. It was very busy, though, and there was quite a bit of a wait. The breakfast staff are hard-working and helpful. The staff who help with luggage and parking your car are also very service-oriented. The hotel bar is in the main hall and isn't very inviting, with to bright lighting. It could be arranged differently in the evening than during the day. All in all, I think the € *** we paid per night (family of three with breakfast) is too much for what we (didn't) get. All reception staff was very friendly and commited to solve the issues but this should not have happend.

We’re actually staying in hotel now for two weeks and loving Rovinj and this hotel. It’s in a great location, a comfortable 15 minute walk into the beautiful town but also beside the national park The park is a perfect place to walk with lots of different routes, through lush trees and skirting the water. A hive of happy, relaxed activity Breakfast is great. Enjoying the omelettes made fresh by the friendly, professional Jucoslav. We have struggled a couple of times to get loungers as selfish people do leave towels and disappear for hours. But it’s not the hotels fault and a minor complaint. This is a lovely, modern hotel with friendly, hardworking staff in a great location. We are really enjoying it Our first time here and will most definitely return. Thank you to all at Eden
