During a summer road trip with my kids to Guizhou, the first place that captivated me was Dali Dong Village. It's a pristine, untouched Dong village, where Dong women hand-embroider their own products on the Flower Bridge. Our room was right next to the Drum Tower, and we were lucky enough to see the women perform a Dong folk song! It was such a beautiful place to take some photos of the Dong people. It's a quiet and pure place, and the owner was so kind, he even lent me his kitchen for free to make instant noodles. The village's Weiwei stir-fries are delicious and worth eating. I'll buy the women's handmade figurines and embroidered products whenever I can, and I give them a thumbs up for their heritage craftsmanship.

The room was clean, spacious, and bright, with a two-story attic that was quite unique. It was located next to the drum tower in the center of the village. The owner was very welcoming and always available, even meeting us at the village gate.

Dali Dong Village, due to its inconvenient location, is less commercialized, allowing visitors to experience the pristine Dong village life.
During off-peak season, there are fewer tourists, and there are few snack shops in the village. B&Bs that don't offer food and beverages are a real inconvenience.
Climbing hundreds of stairs daily can be a bit overwhelming for seniors.

在寨子裏，地理位置不錯，就在鼓樓旁邊。是寨子裏的姐姐家自己的民宿，淡季沒什麼人，很安靜，床鋪很大很乾凈，但是衞生間很小，不過這種情況已經算很好了，就是沒有空調，晚上睡覺還行，白天沒法待，有點悶熱🥵
