Colosseo Gardens - My Extra Home

Stayed in Apt C4. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with two single beds. Kitchen is mostly stocked with needs for making meals and Conad grocery is a 5 minute walk. Two bathrooms with showers. The place is secured, keyed access to the courtyard before a triple bolt key accessed door into the apartment. This apartment isn’t disabled accessible due to the elevator stopping at half floors requiring navigating seven steps. Termini rail station is a 15 minute walk away, as are the coliseum, and a few notable and pilgrim churches. Make sure you let the building manager know your expected arrival time and enjoy

建物の道路側の入口にはセキュリティカメラがありますが、おそらくブザーが押されたときにのみ作動し、常時録画はされていないようです。鍵を使って入った場合、映像は一切記録されていない可能性があります。各部屋の前にはカメラが設置されておらず、誰がいつ部屋に出入りしたのかを確認する手段はまったくありません。 建物と部屋の両方に鍵が必要だったため、当初はこの物件は安全だと思っていました。しかし、それは大きな誤解でした。 私たちが日中外出していた間（建物内にはハウスキーパーが常駐しており、彼女の勤務時間は午前9時30分から午後7時まで）、何者かが部屋に侵入し、アクセサリーや高価な化粧品などの私物が盗まれました。ドアにはこじ開けられた跡はありませんでした。 滞在中は清掃が入らない契約だったため、私たちは誰も部屋に出入りしないものと思っていました。 部屋にはセーフティボックスがありましたが、盗難が発生してはじめてその存在を教えられました。そのセーフティボックスは一見壁の一部に見える場所の奥に隠されており、案内がなければ見つけるのは非常に困難でした。さらにそのサイズは非常に小さく、iPad miniさえ入らないほどで、大切なものを保管するには不十分です。 ハウスキーパーは「翌日警察に報告する」と言いましたが、実際に届け出が行われたのかは分かりません。最終的には、すべての対応を私たち自身で行うことになりました。 私たちはイタリア語が話せませんでしたが、認定ガイドの方に助けていただき、近くの警察署で正式な盗難届を提出しました。 立地の良さを除けば、この物件は著しくセキュリティが不十分で、非常に無防備な状況に置かれた滞在でした。この宿泊施設を検討されている方には、強く注意を呼びかけたいと思います。 There is a security camera at the building’s entrance from the street, but it probably only activates when someone rings the buzzer. It does not appear to record continuously. If someone enters using a key, there is likely no footage at all. There are no cameras in front of individual apartment doors, meaning there is absolutely no way to verify who entered or exited the room and when. Since two keys are required—one for the building and one for the apartment—we initially felt the property was secure. This was a serious misunderstanding. While we were out during the day (when the housekeeper was present in the building—her working hours were from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM), someone entered our apartment and stole several personal belongings, including jewelry and expensive cosmetics. There were no signs of forced entry. Cleaning is not supposed to be done during the stay, so we had assumed no one would be entering the apartment. There is a safe in the room, but we were only told about it after the theft occurred. It was hidden deep behind what looked like part of the wall, making it extremely difficult to find without being specifically shown. Additionally, the safe was very small—not even large enough to fit an iPad mini—making it inadequate for storing most valuables. The housekeeper said she would report the incident to the police the next day, but we have no idea if she actually did. Ultimately, we had to handle everything ourselves. We don’t speak Italian, but with the help of a certified local guide, we went to the local police station and filed an official theft report. Aside from its convenient location, this property suffers from deeply inadequate security and left us feeling extremely vulnerable. We strongly caution anyone considering a stay here.

During our stay here we found the location very convenient, the building and room was well kept. The staff (Precious) is on site and she was amazing to us! She is so kind and helpful!

Great place to stay. There was a huge contract to read and sign including having to take out the trash and clean the room before you left. Which I didn't appreciate. The apartment was amazing in all ways. I can't really say anything bad about it. The staff were reachable and kind and it felt super safe.
