The hotel has a certain quirkyness to it, which I found enlightening. The hotel can be difficult to find at first, with a small sign and on the 4th floor. Though very centrally located to most places of interest within walking distance, St.Peters, the Collosuim, Trevi fountain and very close to the Pantheon (I did this all in a day!).
The lift/elevator does lend itself to one that Poirrot would have been comfortable using, in a positive way and something that I enjoyed using. A very good selection for a robust breakfast to help you start the day and fresh.
The room was clean, comfortable and suitable for either one or two people for as long as required. I had the on suite bathroom.
The staff were very sympathic to my questions and were very helpful. Please thank the gentleman that waited patiently for my arrival and also the cleaner, who was even more helpful and alway happy to help.
This will be my first port of call, if ever I come back to Rome. Thank you.

the owner is very nice and kind. took care of many things and offered to help a lot. also generous on the food and drinks - we can get anything from the fridge and pantry anytime (eg. water/juice/coffee/bread/toasts/cereals...). great view from my room as well

The hotel is in an ideal location, right in the historic centre; just 7 minutes’ walk from the Pantheon and just a few minutes further to the Trevi Fountain or Roman Forum. The room is spacious with a large and comfortable bed with a great view of the historic temple. The bathroom is large and smart with a great shower. However, the breakfast really lets it down and nowhere near the “Delicious Breakfast” described. There is a small kitchen with only one table – for just two people. You can make your own coffee and another guest showed us where to find the salami, pre-sliced processed cheese and long-life sliced bread. The only cereal is bran flakes and in May, the “seasonal fruit” means apples. The “freshly baked croissants” are a lie but there are some supermarket-bought cakes. The only good thing is that you can help yourself at any time, useful if you want to make an early start. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

We stayed in one of the temple-facing rooms and really enjoyed it. The temple area doubles as a cat sanctuary (Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary) and we enjoyed watching the kitties wander around the ruins. It's a very small place, only a handful of rooms, and quite cozy. Breakfast is no-frills but good, and I appreciated that they kept a fridge stocked with water bottles we could grab any time. There was a little bit of noise from the elevator/stairwell, but nothing keeping the fan running overnight couldn't offset, and the windows were solid and kept out any street noise. The location was good -- easy walking distance to some of the major sights, and well-served by buses and the tram.

Check-in is by 4:00 p.m. After that, there are no staff in the building. We had to spend one night in a different room, which had no soundproof windows. The next day, we were given a room with a completely moldy bathroom. The heating didn't work, and the Wi-Fi didn't work either. Sleep was impossible here either; you could hear the entire stairwell, and the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast consisted of helping yourself to something from the refrigerator. Toast was also included. We can't recommend this hotel at all!

I was there these days with a friend of mine and we were pleasantly surprised by the structure located in a very central area, clean rooms with a view that is nothing short of wonderful, ... but above all the kindness, the cordiality, of the staff in particular Rotan very polite .... always ready to satisfy our requests .... thanks we will be back very soon Cinzia and Simona

This guesthouse is centrally located in Rome, with a taxi stand nearby. Simple rooms, some of which are right next to the hallway and elevator. Unfortunately, they are often in use in the early hours of the morning (house residents?) and are noisy. The TV and coffee machine in the kitchen that was used didn't work. Simple breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful though.
