Spark by Hilton Rochester South

Usually stay in Hamptons or home2 suites but wanted to try spark, not a bad choice This is a refurbished hotel not a new built, the rooms are small especially the bathrooms, however the hotel is very clean the employees are super friendly the shower was hot but could have used a bit more power, could hear a lot of noise early in the evening thru the walls but once things settled down had no trouble sleeping in the comfortable beds. Would not hesitate to stay here again

We came for appointments at hospital. Needed a quiet room and good nights rest. I called several times with questions and Candi was always very helpful,kind, and mostly patient with me as I can be a bit much sometimes. But she was exceptional and I can totally tell she goes above and beyond her job duties. I hope management recognizes her value. The room was clean quiet and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. We also felt safe here. The breakfast was so good. I appreciated the bagel bar for a change over hot food. They had other things too. Very nice stay and Srvc. We will be back.

Firstly, and most importantly, the service provided to me by the GM, Mr. Patel, was outstanding. Mr. Patel takes great care to be attentive to his Guests: he upgraded me to his nicest corner room (without my request) and everyday of my three days he made sure (as a Courtesy) to provide me with two complimentary bottled waters. Mr. Patel also went out of his way to honor a payment request noted on my reservation and he acknowledged my Status w Hilton: I REALLY APPRECIATE FRIENDLY MANAGEMENT! The Property is a standout for Spark: my room had a microwave, Desk chair, the Property also has a nice pool area w hot tub AND a well-supplied Fitness Center w heavy weights (all of these amenities are non-required for Hilton Spark, so it's a pleasant bonus, iykyk) The area is quiet, easy in-out for work, and on my second day I took a trailed-walk around the lake next to Property. There is an IMAX theater next door, however plan ahead for food, no walkable restaurants visible. Excellent value rate-wise and Mr. Patel keeps fresh fruit in the lobby, will be a returning Guest.

Awesome hotel. Candy and Paul were amazing. They both go out of their way for guests. Rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable. Very much worth it and I’ll definitely stay here again. I will be recommending to others that are traveling in the Rochester, MN area. Very easy to find and easy parking.

We were visiting grankids and wanted a place nearby them. The Coratel is still in remodel mode but our room was immaculate and looked brand new. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and carpet/tile in bathroom brand new. The staff were very accommodating and always willing to help with any issues. Breakfast was standard waffles, cereal, breads ,juices and coffee. Would have been nice to have peanut butter option too for bread. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is going through a remodel, so I have a mixed review. What has been done is excellent. New beds are comfortable, and the space is clean and efficient. Staff was more than accommodating as I had a full day at Mayo Climic and needed an early check in. The bad: The shower fixture was old and coming apart from the tub. One of the local frequent patrons was causing a scene and the police were there with him. This will be a great place to stay once these issues are resolved. Overall, I would stay again.
