Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel Reviews

Very short stay, but everything was friendly. Hotel's room is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They also offer a free airport shuttle service. You can book a shuttle by email before arriving at the airport, or contact the hotel using the toll-free number in the airport shuttle area after arriving at Vancouver International Airport. The only drawback is the desk and bedside tables in the room. The tops are attached to the legs by four bolts. These protruding bolts leave insufficient flat surface for books, laptops, or backpacks. I suggest the hotel replace these impractical desks and bedside tables. Besides, the hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance to the SkyTrain station and there are many restaurants nearby. Especially, the food court at "Richmond Centre" which is nearby this hotel primarily serves Asian cuisine, so you won't feel homesick.

We were celebrating a couple of birthdays among friends and were so happy that the hotel had shuttle service from the airport. My friends’ flights were cancelled a couple of times the night before so we were not able to meet in Seattle as planned, so we met at the hotel. Fiona, on staff at Sheraton, kindly received us and assisted us with getting lounge access and breakfast for all so we can relax after being up all night due to flight cancellations. Unfortunately, the following night the hotel suffered a power outage from evening through the next morning causing temperature in the room to vary and hot showers not possible. It could have been seen as a really bad start to the trip but fortunately Fiona came through getting a portion of the night refunded, some hotel points, Starbucks drinks and pastries and late checkout. Fiona was very understanding and accommodating allowing us to continue our trip enjoying it together.

Very convenient location. Walking distance to nearby shopping mall. Also close to skytrain. Starbucks downstairs. Great for coffee lovers. Room is clean and spacious. Smart TV is a bonus!

The service is good in general. However, we met the strike during our stay so that the cleaning was only done once upon request. To compensate the situation, free breakfast was offered to us.

During my three-day stay, I experienced two fire alarms and one day a complete power outage lasting over 12 hours, with no electricity, internet, or hot water. My elderly family member was woken from their sleep by the alarm, and nearly had a heart attack in the rush to leave the room in the middle of the night. I will never stay here again!

The location is fine, with a shuttle bus from the airport, but the room I was in had a motor-like noise that could be heard from the neighboring room and the outside all night, and the air conditioning suddenly turned up, which made for a lack of sleep. The pillow also smelled really sweaty, which was uncomfortable. I'll never stay here again. I was staying at the Marriott next door the night before, and it was a comfortable stay.
