When I checked in, the staff actually didn't know the code lock number for the front door. They said they would send me an email, but they didn't receive it at all. Also, the gas in the kitchen was suddenly cut off. Everyone could only use the electric microwave oven or bake. It is very inconvenient to cook on the stove. There are basically no problems with other facilities. The cleanliness is acceptable. The lights on each bed in the room are just a decoration and are not used.

盗難注意！
初めてホステルという共同宿泊施設に泊まりましたが、まずはチェックイン前に来るはずだった玄関やお部屋のアクセスコードがメールで届かず(迷惑メールフォルダもチェック済み)不便だったことと、お部屋履き用にと置いてたお気に入りのビーチサンダルを盗まれたことが非常に残念でした。
清潔に清掃もされて、共同スペースもゆったりオシャレで快適だったのはとても良かったです。

Check-in à la dérive, chambre claustrophobique
Une auberge de jeunesse difficile à trouver, cela donne l'impression d'être caché. Les espaces, surtout dans les chambres, ne sont pas très étendues, et même si l'établissement en général est propre, mon lit n'était pas net, il y avait quelques poils. Les lits superposés sont presque en touchant le plafond, et le lit ne permet pas un bon sommeil. Concernant le check-in, selon ******* l'heure d'arrivée pouvait être à 14h, j'étais là quelques minutes plus tard mais je n'ai pas reçu le digicode pour entrer. Au téléphone, une dame pas du tout proactive, m'a dit que le code arrive toujours dans ma boîte e-mail, mais qu'elle va me l'envoyer par SMS, mais cela jamais a eu lieu, et j'ai pas recu le code par e-mail sinon après 16h. Une personne gentille qui travaille là m'a permit d'entrer et de me donner la chambre, merci à lui. L'hôtel a des toilettes et salles de bain séparés (ce qui un français peut aimer) et une cuisine où on peut se cuisiner et garder la nourriture. Emplacement très éloignée du centre et des points intéressantes de Reykjavik.

Ultima notte in Islanda prenotiamo questo ostello che si rivela già difficile da trovare in quanto si trova fuori dal centro (lo sapevamo), in una zona industriale e al primo piano di un edificio. Non ci sono insegne al piano terra ad eccezione di un cartello sbiaditissimo. Entriamo con un codice di ingresso e ci ritroviamo direttamente in cucina con altri ospiti che mangiano cena. Attraversata la cucina arriviamo finalmente nella stanza dormitorio da 8 letti, che però è separata da un'altra stanza dormitorio solo da una tenda, quindi è come stare in una camerata! Per di più avevamo i posti numerati, ma al nostro arrivo gli altri ospiti avevano già preso i posti migliori perché qualcuno (non essendoci la reception non si sa chi) aveva detto che ognuno sceglieva il suo posto. Mah! Ad ogni modo il peggio arriva di notte, con ospiti che russano in una stanza troppo piccola. Risultato non abbiamo chiuso occhio e siamo arrivati in aeroporto stanchi. Abbiamo dormito altre notti in tenda e nonostante le difficoltà (pioggia e vento), sicuramente è meglio, almeno non si spende 125€ per due posti letto per poi non riuscire a dormire!

Guy and girl working inside here are good people doing their best. Premises are good But. WARNING!!!!: the owner is horrible. She has really bad business manners, generally puts her clients in very bad monetary situations sometimes (check here and TripAdvisor for these reviews and you won't choose to book here I'm sure, I wish I had done that) Om my arrival day I was locked out at 2.30 am because the hotel didn't send the entry code to me and THERE WAS NO EMERGENCY NUMBER TO CALL. If says on the website after 21.00 you check in with a code. But no code in my email. I had to pay over 200€ total extra to go to another room, by taxi. Since I had an E-sim I could Google for a taxi and call via Skype luckily because the streets were empty and no public wifis. Standing in arctic winds alone in Iceland! All the hotel's fault. She tries to tell me I should have emailed them about a late arrival which there was NO INFO about in the confirmation and generally just blames me for the whole situation when clearly its the fault of the hostel. Horrible owner. She could have given me a refund for the first night as I politely asked but she refuses and simply blames me and *******. Horrible manners not caring about anything except some 50€ for 1 night Please use your money better and book B47 bus hostel instead-much better people working there, perfect for all excursions and transfers etc. Maria in B14 does not take care of the guests if something happens so better to go to a different place to avoid being treated horribly losing your money. So go to B47 instead.

Arrived to this hostel that is outside of the city center only to find that the bunk I was assigned was dirty and/or still in use! No one on site to sort out the issue and owner refused a refund. I was forced to find another last minute accommodation.
