Grecotel Creta Palace

My comment is about people, because any place makes a person good or bad! So this wonderful place is made by one very good person named Vasilis Karapanagiotidis. He does everything to make this hotel modern and respectable. Vasilis takes care of everyone and each one individually. He did everything possible to make our vacation wonderful. We were taken care of in the room, on the beach, everywhere we were. Thanks to this, we had a good rest and left very pleasant memories! Definitely a wonderful large and well-kept territory near the hotel, a spacious beach line. Its own vegetable garden, where they grow fresh vegetables and various greens for the restaurant. Lots of different Activities! Trainers Anna and Polin conduct different training sessions at a good level, I really liked them! The team at the bar in the lobby makes very cool cocktails! I would also like to note the a-la-carte manager Katerina for her high professionalism and personal human qualities! We received good service and caring attention from the restaurant manager Georgy. Many pleasant details that all these people and the entire staff did always brightened up our vacation! THANK YOU ALL FOR THIS!

We absolutely loved our stay at Creta Palace! The resort has a unique, joyful soul that makes you feel instantly relax and seems to attract other nice people. the staff is wonderful. Special mention to Elena who gave us a fantastic welcome at check-in, and the hotel manager, Vasilis, who was incredibly attentive to ensuring guests were happy. We also enjoyed the many sports activities, the high-quality evening shows, and the delicious food and drinks. There were a few minor cons: the sandy beach change to a stony one near the water, the sea gets deep quickly which is not ideal for toddlers (we used the amazing pools instead), and some food was too salty for my taste. However, these are not deal-breakers in the slightest. It was a wonderful holiday and we will definitely come back!

We were first welcomed to the hotel by very friendly staff who gave us many free drinks and refreshment towels. They were very friendly, as were all the staff at the bars across the hotel. However, the bungalow rooms were poorly decorated, had patchy walls where they had painted over some spots but not the whole wall so were different colours and the decor was quite outdated. The bathrooms were a good size and had an excellent shower but were often left dirty and I do not believe that the housekeeping staff were particularly good at cleaning and maintaining the bathroom at a high standard (especially for the price). The hotel offers both sun beds by the pool as well as on a private beach. We ended up spending the entire week on the beach, which was lovely, because the pool was far too small for the number of guests. We were half board and the breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, especially the dinner which has different options every night and even has themed nights such as Asian food which was on offer on our final evening. Our stay was lovely but definitely let down by the poor state of the rooms, the poor housekeeping of the rooms and the lack of attention to detail especially when dealing with customer issues such as when I had to call reception 3 times to ask for body wash as the housekeeping had not refilled the soap and no one ever arrived to give us more until the 3rd time calling. There was also no apology despite me having to ask 3 times which of course is not the end of the world but I think is the polite thing which should be done (again especially for the money you pay to stay at the hotel). However, overall we did have a lovely stay and although I would definitely say that the hotel is very expensive and therefore not good value for money, we did have a lovely time with excellent cocktails and a lovely view from the hotel of the sea and surrounding areas.

Great family vacation! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, outstanding cleaning service. The rooms need some renovations (especially the bathrooms), I understand this will be the case this winter. The only issue to signal is the fact that guests reserve the beds on the beach early in the morning and they show up hours after, I believe there should be more control for that. Big shout out to Despina and her team at the beach Brasserie (Christos, Nikoleta, Alexandros) they have been the friendliest waiters and contributed to make this vacation unforgettable! The beach staff works relentlessly for the comfort of their guests! Appreciate also the kids club staff, they have been super sweet with our kids!
