Location is 5mins walk from station, the room is clear and spacious, staffs are super friendly and helpful, highly recommended to stay.

I had a great stay at the Ibis hotel. The hotel staff were professional and friendly and the bed was very comfortable. My only inconvenience was the card key used to access the lift and rooms: it uses a magnetic stripe, which is easily disrupted by any RFID devices. I had to have it recharged three times as it did not work; I think this is quite an old-fashioned system and it needs to be noted that many travellers will have RFID devices which will affect the card.
With that said, my overall experience was positive and I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Staying in Reading and taking a train to London is a very cost-effective option. The hotel is very close to the train station, about a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient to go to London. And the hotel's facilities are better than other hotels of the same price in London.
