Nice Hotel, good Location and great Service......very convenient

This hotel has a noisy bar on the first floor, making guests uncomfortable. The front desk was dismissive and seemed discriminatory towards Asians, unlike their friendly attitude towards others. After receiving the wrong room, the staff blamed the Trip platform and accused me of being aggressive when I tried to resolve it, then threatened to call the police and evicted me without a refund. Despite my travels to over 10 countries, this was my worst experience. Parking is difficult, the room quality is poor, and the heating is noisy. Avoid this hotel due to poor service and disrespectful staff.

Nice accommodations. Fairly new construction. Be advised you must check your email prior to arriving for check in directions. It is a keyless entry and the email will include your code to unlock the door. The email will also include internet information. The email does not come from Seljalandsfoss Hotel but rather an email address that is not indicative of the hotel itself. If you are someone who doesn't click on what appears to be random emails, it could be a problem for you. There is no printed material in the rooms. In other words, it is all included in this email. Breakfast is delivered to you and is not delivered prior to 8:30 AM so if you want to hit the road early and get breakfast, it's not an option. Breakfast is cereal, cold meat and cheese and the typical foods for a continental. Also, there are no restaurants close by with the exception of a cafe located in an information center/convenience store a few miles away. The cafe serves the usual - burgers, fries, etc. If I were to give suggestions to the owners, I'd suggest they indicate that there is not reception area and that one accesses the accommodations by following the information in the email and provide the email address from which the email will come.

Loved the location of the cottages. So nice to sit on the couch and see a 180 view of the serene grounds. If there is more than 2 people, I would recommend getting 2 cabins. The bathroom is so petite and the upstairs small with steep stairs, I could not imagine more than 2 people in these cabins. That said though, they are really a fun place to stay.

Amazing quaint cabin with a beautiful view of a waterfall. Perfect size for my family of four. Would definitely stay here again for longer.
