"First of all, the image currently used by Trip.com shows a different hotel. The Hotel Skoga has a dark, sloping roof and is now quite run-down. This, along with the price, is the biggest criticism. Offering an old building with small rooms for this price is simply outrageous, even by Icelandic standards. Aside from the condition of the building, the small rooms, and the price, there was nothing to complain about; the cleanliness and breakfast were fine. For €50 less per night, it might even be worth recommending, but not under these circumstances."

However, finally no-one pick up a call then we contact trip.com. As trip said the owner said there is on-one called them. At the end the owner send someone to open the door. But sadly, that is the one whom we have asked how to checkin before. 😢"
