I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings. However, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times. The hotel's location was convenient, close to various attractions. The on-site amenities, like the fitness center and restaurant, added to the overall positive impression. Despite minor issues, I would consider staying here again.

This is a very special place: a peaceful rural spot beautifully located amongst green fields and surrounded by hills. The building is a former palace, converted to preserve the historic features. Little stone staircases lead off in all directions, leading to courtyards and alcoves with seats where you can admire one photogenic view after another. The bedroom suites are individually unique, spacious, comfortable and quirky. The key to any hotel is the staff and here they were first class. There was always someone there to do whatever was needed to make us comfortable, available immediately but without being obtrusive. All we met were polite and attentive, and there must be excellent kitchen staff, as the food was exceptional. We were looked after in particular by Amit Bahuguna, a charming and knowledgable waiter, who was always able to assist and advise, making us feel like the Maranas (Maharajahs) who lived here in the past. This is a place which will live on in your memories for many years.

Alle vorherigen Bewertungen treffen zu! Es ist einfach wunderschön! Leider waren wir nur 2 Nächte hier. Wir hatten die Gartenzimmer gebucht, bekamen ein Upgrade in die Suiten im Hauptgebäude, was natürlich traumhaft war. Jede Minute haben wir genossen, vor allem das geheizte Restaurant ( es war sehr kalt im Januar ) und den ebenfalls geheizten Pool. Das gesamte Personal ist gut ausgebildet und super freundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und *** brachte uns Dessert, obwohl wir keins bestellt hatten. Wir saßen vor unserer Abreise noch länger am Pool und wollten eigentlich nichts mehr bestellen, der sowieso sehr aufmerksame Poolkellner brachte uns dann kostenlose Getränke und Snaks. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre das Bereitstellen von Driver/ Guide Zimmern! Unsere mußten bis nach Udaipur fahren (fast eine Stunde Fahrzeit) um eine bezahlbare Unterkunft zu finden. Der Ausblick in das Dorf vom Pool und den Zimmern ist wie eine live Doku vom Leben in einem indischen Dorf. Auch einen Spaziergang in das hübsche Dorf kann *** nur empfehlen. *** lud uns in den Kindergarten und auf eine Hochzeit ein. Jederzeit wieder!!

Das Devi Garh, ein ehemaliger Sommerpalast, liegt ca. 30 Autominuten ausserhalb von Udaipur, eingebettet in eine sanfte Hügellandschaft und erhöht mit Aussicht auf ein kleines indisches Dorf. Bei Ankunft im Devi Garh erwartet einen beim Durchschreiten des Eingangstores ein Rosenblätterregen als Willkommensgruss und auch der rote Willkommensdrink beim Einchecken ist begleitet von Rosenblättern. Unsere Suite erstrahlte in weiss, weisser Marmorboden, -Wände und -Decken sowie weisse Möbel. Die Einrichtung war modern, die beiden Bäder mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Das Restaurant ist stylish und modern eingerichtet, die Speisekarte bietet eine gute Auswahl an indischen und europäischen Gerichten. Das indische Essen und der Service waren ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück ist à la carte und wird im Restaurant oder auf der Terrasse serviert. Hier gibt es sicher noch Verbesserungspotential. Generell war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage hat einen grosszügigen Poolbereich mit bequemen Liegen, dem allerdings ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit durch Servicepersonal gut tun würde. Von der Bar aus kann *** bei einem Drink den Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Alles in allem ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt.

Cet hôtel est un vrai paradis! Situé au milieu des montagnes de la chaînes des Arawilli, il jouit d’une vue magnifique sur ces dernière. Le Fort a été restauré en un hôtel de luxe....mais aussi et surtout, de charme. La déco contemporaine est très réussie et il n’y a pas une seule chose que l’on a pas envie de ramener dans nos valises!!!! La nourriture y est excellente et la visite du potager avec le chef vaut vraiment la peine. Il y a une belle piscine et un spa qui offre une belle gamme de massages. Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de faire la visite du village avec un guide, mais nous ne manquerons pas de la faire la prochaine fois que nous irons à Devi Garh, car c’est bien certain, nous y retournerons!
