"The hotel is located at an amazing location with a view over the forest and Pacific Ocean. Room was clean and nice and the breakfast was amazing!"

El Faro Containers Beach Hotel

"The room was on the 4th floor of the highest building, so the view was beautiful, both of the National Park and the ocean. The park entrance is a 4-minute walk away, so the location is excellent. The beach is about 8 minutes' walk away, as is an area with bars and restaurants. The breakfast is good, although the service was the same both days we stayed. A luggage transport service is always available via golf cart, given the significant vertical displacements from the parking lot and the buildings. There was only one problem: After the first 20 minutes in the pool, the white shirts used to avoid applying sunscreen and protect ourselves from the sun turned yellow. I reported the problem to reception, and the next day a company came and cleaned both pools several times. In my opinion, the problem is structural, and simply reporting it to a few guests isn't enough to solve the problem, because the water doesn't move, as if the purification system were inadequate."

"This hotel was really cute and clean, and the dorm rooms weren’t bad for dorm rooms… The pool was nice the cold tub which is like a hot tub with cold water, was great. Literally nothing bad I can say about this place other than its location. Which I know they can’t do anything about but everybody online recommended staying in Quepos and I don’t know why, because it’s horrible. Yes, you can get picked up from your hotel to go out on excursions but if you’re there without a car, there’s literally nothing to walk to or do in Quepos without paying to go on an excursion! They recommend Sofa Sanchez to eat, everyone seems to, and it was modern but not great."

"This was our 3rd time staying Villa Kiskadee in Tulemar and it just gets better every year. The resort was absolutely beautiful, the house and views were stunning and the gardens were gorgeous and well taken care of by the gardener. There was always wildlife nearby- toucans, macaws, monkeys, iguanas, agoutis and sloths and Maria, our housekeeper was so helpful in pointing out the sloths. I can’t say enough about the staff. From our housekeeper, concierge amd golf cart drivers to the massage therapists, all our interactions with the staff were exceptional. Maria took great care in keeping the house in perfect condition. She makes our stay so enjoyable and effortless. Chris was our concierge and spoiled us with his excellent service from booking excursions and making reservations to bringing us daily treats. He even managed to arrange for us to partake in a turtle release which was an incredible experience. Chris and Maria were so attentive and took care of everything. We lived like royalty for a week. This was truly a five star experience and the best vacation ever!!"
