"It’s the second time I’m here with friends and we absolutely love it! It’s a really cool building with lots of common areas with good vibes. The owner is really nice and we have gotten a lot of tips of what to do in Quepos. The breakfast is also really good which you can enjoy with an amazing view."

"I had a really relaxing stay at Planet B – The staff were friendly and helpful, & the included breakfast (eggs, pancakes, and fruit) was delicious ! There are a few hammocks to chill out in, & I appreciated the gym/yoga area upstairs. The location is convenient, with a bus stop close by that made getting to the beach easy and hassle-free. I also saw some wildlife in the backyard:)"

Mountain Top Park Hotel ★★★

📍 Diagonal a la Iglesia Casa de Pan, Manuel Antonio

"The hotel and grounds are lovely. Comfortable rooms with good air conditioning. The hot water in the shower was more like warm water but it was hot out so it worked out ok. Be aware there is no swimming pool . The restaurant had great breakfast and dinner. It's closed for lunch but there are lots of restaurants in town a five or ten minute drive away. The night time wildlife tour on the hotel grounds was excellent. Better that what you could get by going into town."

Hotel Tres Banderas

"A surprise! This felt initially like it might have been a mistake. But, the food was superb at lunch and dinner time. The chefs and especially the bar man/waiter were fantastic. The room, room 1, had good views and was very clean and comfortable. When it rained it was noisy with dripping onto the metal roof long after the rain had stopped, which would be helped if the gutters were cleared! A couple of bad nights with little sleep resulted. But the view of monkeys and other wildlife was good. The pool was nice, when there were no divers in it, and although the drive / steps are steep there is a bus stop very nearby making it accessible to nearby shops and restaurants. Definitely worth a few days, especially with the catamaran tour and the national park being so close and do try the tuna!"

Inn on the Park Hotels in Quepos

Inn on the Park

"Slecht!

Hotel Manuel Antonio ★★★
"The guys at reception were super friendly, but the women were the complete opposite. They made check-in incredibly difficult and then slapped on an extra $80 USD charge because the double room we'd booked, with two double beds, was actually for one person… shameful, be careful if you book with them. There are many better-priced options in Manuel Antonio and the surrounding area."

Mountain Top Park Hotel ★★★
"I have to say, this hotel really captivated me. I didn't want to leave the Mountain Top Park Hotel at all, and it was actually quite difficult on the last day. First, about the room: I had a room with a mountain view (I think a sea view costs extra, but you don't really need it because the mountain view is truly stunning). It was indescribably beautiful to wake up to such a view every morning. During my stay, I also saw many birds like toucans, eagles, and macaws flying over the treetops. As you've probably already read, there are an incredible number of free-roaming animals on the large hotel grounds (the hotel is practically located in a piece of rainforest). I saw more animals here than in Manuel Antonio National Park, such as sloths and monkeys (on the last day, we even spotted a sloth with its baby). Definitely take the free morning tour with a guide. It's really great to walk across the suspension bridges and look out for animals. The staff is SUPERB. The rooms are clean and modern (they're just a little noisy, but that's not a problem with earplugs). So all in all, it was an unforgettable stay and I don't regret a single penny :) PS: Definitely take the golf cart from reception to the hotel; it's too strenuous to walk up."

"We (couple) stayed 3 nights at the Coffee Roaster Café and Hotel and had a great time. The hotel ist well designed, beds were comfy and the included breakfast was delicious. The available parking came handy too. The crew was super friendly, especially Lucía and Gabriel. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Top rating and highly recommended."
