I went on a May Day trip and arrived at Qingdao West Station late, so I chose to stay in Huangdao for one night. The hotel was very cost-effective during the May Day holiday, and it was really close to the beach. It took only a few minutes to walk to the new pier, where you can go to the sea to dig sand, and the children were very happy. The front desk gave me a set of sand-digging suits, which were very sturdy. All kinds of services were responsive, and they also helped to arrange a late check-out. You can order lunch, which is delicious, large in quantity, and good service.
