I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the Qingdao Licang Sheraton. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. The first room we were assigned had a broken shower head, forcing us to move rooms at 5:00 am — a huge inconvenience. The bathroom walls also showed significant wear and tear, which added to the unpleasant experience.
The front desk service was even more frustrating. They were dishonest about the charges for my laundry service. I was presented with a bill for RMB 320, but I was charged over RMB 380 at check out. When I asked for an itemized statement to clarify the discrepancy, they refused to provide one. Considering my flight schedule, I had no choice but to pay the incorrect amount and leave, but this was completely unacceptable.
Moreover, the staff at the front desk often displayed a poor attitude toward customers. As a loyal Bonvoy member, I expect a much higher standard of service, but this hotel fell far below expectations.

Went for a weekend trip with my partner. We wanted a place that is central to visit the mountain area (with the fishing village etc) and the beach. It’s quite far away if you plan to take transport but by taxi it’s okay. In China location is key since every city is so big. The hotel amenities however are incredible and so is the staff.
