Terrible experience – even for a budget hotel I travel often and am used to staying in budget hotels, so I don’t expect luxury — but this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had, especially considering the price I paid (even with the discounted room). Let’s start with the only good points: the staff was friendly, the location is convenient, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The cleanliness was appalling: there were shrimp in the hallway, and the towels smelled absolutely disgusting — genuinely unusable. The noise levels were unbearable: the rooms are very poorly soundproofed, and people (including staff) were shouting in the hallways, with kids running and screaming even in the middle of the night. Sleeping was nearly impossible. The room itself was misrepresented. It was advertised as having a “window with a view,” but in reality, there was a tiny window facing the corridor, offering zero natural light. It felt claustrophobic and misleading. When I tried to ask for some form of compensation, I was told I should have reported the issue earlier — but that’s impossible when no one at the front desk speaks English. Communication was simply not an option. If you’re considering a cheap place to stay: you can find much better than this for the same price. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone — even for just one night.

the location was perfect—very close to the 4 May Square and shopping malls which made it super convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the price was reasonable for what you get. Highly Recommended.

The hotel location is very close to may 4th square. I think if the price of room is 250 rmb and youre not picky, book here. The hotel has strange smell from lobby until room. People are smoking at the hallway. My room is non smoking but there is an ash tray inside. I asked for a good view but i got the worse. There was a terrible drilling noise beside my room because of the construction beside the building. Breakfast was very poor. Not worth to book with a breakfast. There are plenty of shops to buy outside.

All was good with this hotel. Nice big rooms with good facilities and the location was good too. Rooms were stocked with useful things such as toothbrush, slippers, robe and tea making facilities. Overall was very happy with this hotel and my stay.

Friendly staff, very convenient location,highly recommended

Thankfully, the clerk at the desk was alert around midnight when I arrived. He was very efficient and processed my reservation immediately, helped me with setting up my ******* delivery address to the hotel, and set up a wake up call. The room appeared to be clean, and the air conditioning worked very well. However, there is a bit of a concern regarding the grouting. I did not test it at the time, but it was peeling and black in color, a sign of possible mold. It is something the hotel should look into. I did not eat there this time, but in future, I hope to visit that location and stay. It is in an ideal location. Restaurants, the MIXC mall, and other facilities, are all within easy walking distance. If you have business with the government offices and are looking for one of most inexpensive, no frills hotels, I highly recommend it.

Decent hotel in a great central location with subway entrance right outside the front door and a 7-11 next door. Breakfast was mediocre and even in our non smoking room there was a strong smell of smoke and of course dudes smoking in the hallways but overall it was decent enough. Easy Walk to may 4 square.

The hotel location is very good, the room carpet is so dirty and need to change and there is bad smell for rooms .

positive points: location is very good, right outside of metro station, and very easy to travel around for all main sight seeings locations. Did not book breakfast here, but there are a lot of options just down stairs, we quite like the breakfast we had during our trip. Negative points: we booked 3 economy room - though we had the expectation that it won't be nice rooms, but one room we get on level 8 is really next level - weird and strong smells upon entering, likely no one has lived in the room for quite some time. The door is faulty and hard to close, lots of dust in the room. We try to talk with the front desk for a change but it did not really get through. We have then talk about this with customer service in trip.com and they have agreed immediately to change a better room for us, really appreciate the help from trip.com. the rest 2 rooms on level 5 are still ok (though they are very small rooms in general so you shall manage your expectations there if you choose the economy room) Overall, super good location, staff is generally ok but you need to find the correct way to escalate if your experience is really bad. And manage your expectations if choosing the economy room - I personally will not choose this room type again.
