Hotel Rupashree Bangala , Puri

Pathetic experience! They won't give you what you pay for. We booked a two double bed room and they gave us a filthy, stinky room, un-mopped sticky floor with a double bed and a folding bed. Dirty headboards of beds, stained bedsheets, mold on quilts, cheap bathroom doors worth 250 which won't shut. TVs are showpieces, not meant to start. Seaview is s***ty as it gives you view to an empty plot used as dumping yard and backside of a temple. Owner will ask you 50% non-refundable advance right after you book and that's when your trip starts to ruin. And upon your visit he will charge the rest of it. He will behave as if he has done a favour to every adjustment you make for what was wrong. For me he kept singing that he gave me a sheet to cover in place of a quilt on a cold December night. Same for a towel, he send 1 towel after 2 hours of waiting in a 3 people occupancy room. Even the replacement sheets were all torn, had holes in it, but the owner is not willing to accept. Only you will have to adjust in case you want to take some value to what you have paid. Electricity and Water goes out at 6AM, generator doesn't work and owner will escape by not taking calls. The only thing good about this hotel is the feeling you get when you leave this place!

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! Our stay at Hotel Rupashree Bangala, Puri was a complete disaster. If possible, we would give it negative stars. The hotel's cleanliness was subpar, and the constant construction noise was disturbing. There was no generator backup, and the toilets were tiny. Our room, B03, had a noisy fan and a non-functional AC. To top it off, there was no staff available after 11 pm to assist with our issues. The service was also poor. We ordered tea, which arrived cold and delayed. The next time, the milk was spoiled. Due to these issues, we canceled our second-day booking and checked out. Unfortunately, the reception didn't even discuss a refund or show any concern. To add insult to injury, (website) had not clearly mentioned that the prices were excluding tax. The reception didn't have a printout of the final payment, and after a lot of insistence, they provided a handwritten receipt that mentioned the additional tax. The hotel is NOT WORTH THE PRICE. We would strongly advise against booking this hotel. Look elsewhere for a better experience.

there were many issue in the hotel; 1. pathetic condition for room maintenance, we stayed for 4 nights. no cleaning, even after we told them to do so. 2. ⁠no bed sheets, blankets, pillow covers all were dirty and were not washed. 2. ⁠bugs in bed. 3. ⁠restaurant was not functional, only having a single cook, that too was missing some days. we need to follow his schedule, comes late and takes huge time to prepare. 4. ac was not working, the remote didn’t worked and they didn’t even bothered to change after request also. however; the staff at hotel were cooperative they tried to help, but it seems they have lack of arrangements and resources. in short our stay was pathetic, the hotel management is very poor, however the staff were friendly.. these were in iur beds.. bathrooms were also pathetic.

It was a horrible experience, not expected, that mmt is recommending such a hotel. Have to leave hotel within 4hrs. No electricity although next room has electricity. Couldn't even provide a candle. Water leaking from window. Fly, mosquito and ants in the room. Approach road waterlogged and broken. Practically no service. Even kitchen couldn't provide snacks ordered. You should refund the amount paid for this booking as i have to shift another accommodation within 4 hrs of check in.

Hotel manager's behaviour was rude and hotel condition was worst. If their is any option to give minus rating then i choose only that option.

Hotel rupashree bangla is a modest hotel. Clean room and a little view of bay of bengal from the window. Food served in the hotel was tasty. Overall all nice and cosy stay in this hotel.
