Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa

I went with my two good friends on our yearly girls trip, and then my mom arrived for her bday. We all loved how beautiful and calm the beach was and all the amenities but we thought the food and drink was not on par with other Secrets or All inclusive hotels we have stayed in. I have stayed at Secrets the Vine Cancun 3 times, Hyatt Zilara Punta Cana, and Hard Rock Los Cabos. Also thought that during the day the pool area was vary boring except during the activities (water aerobics, volleyball, zumba) but it would be cool to have a DJ or louder more fun music playing. It was also very hard to find shade at the pool and the beach, wish there were more chairs with umbrellas. The night entertainment was great at Desires and at the lobby especially the Dj and bands that played more upbeat dancing music, and Black Coffee got everyone to dance and was such a great vibe, we love him. Our concierge/butler - Osvaldy Guerrero Cedano is a true Gem, the best concierge/butler I've ever had. He was super responsive and helped us out at all times. It was my mom's bday and he had the room decorated with cake and Champagne and she loved it. He totally made her day more special. Ultimately I thought that this Secrets was more for couples where most Adults only resorts are a bit more fun and have more of a variety of people of all ages, for example girls trip, bachelorette, bachelor, wedding party. it seemed way more focused for couples and we all felt a bit out of a place. Lastly our room smelled like mold, I wish we had complained and had it changed it because on the last day our Concierge/Butler allowed us to checkout late and then enjoy the resort and use a room just to shower before leaving for our late flight. The room that we used the shower in was the same size but no smell of mold. The service was amazing though, all employees were super nice, kind, helpful and smily they made the atmosphere so great! This trip was a year in the making, planned with my friends to celebrate my 50th birthday — and it was absolutely worth the wait! I began working with Joshua Biechy, an Inclusive Collection Travel Specialist, back in August 2024. Joshua was incredible in helping me (and at the time, 18 friends) get the best deal and the exact rooms I wanted. I was very specific about booking all of the B12 swim-out suites, and to make that happen, two other couples chose oceanfront swim-out suites, giving us a total of six. That setup secured what I really wanted — our own private pool area — and it was perfect! The rooms were stunning, spacious, and comfortable. Even though we couldn’t fully enjoy the ocean during our stay, it didn’t matter — we had an amazing time. Our butler, Ricardo, was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and handled all of our reservations and requests with ease. The beach wait staff, especially Stephanie, went above and beyond — trekking through the bushes just to make sure we were taken care of! The grounds were immaculate, the beach was pristine, and truly, I couldn’t find a single fault with the resort. If you’re looking for a luxurious, all-inclusive getaway, I highly recommend Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa. It’s pure paradise and an experience I’ll never forget!

What an awesome stay at Secrets. I’ve never stayed at one before but it is truly a high level, relaxing and uplifting experience. I would suggest this resort to anyone looking for this type of experience. It was a planned trip of one of my cousins for her 50th birthday. It was a total of 8 people, including 4 single people and 2 couples. The resort was phenomenal. The service for your rooms, the butlers, the pool servers, the beach servers, the restaurant experiences were all top notch. You really get what you pay for here. They provided the best service for our birthdays, a cake, champagne and flowers on the beds. The theme nights were wonderful, great lighting for nighttime pictures, Dominican night, Caribbean night, all white beach party with reggae music, nightly music in the lobby but not big enough to dance. I only have a few areas of improvement or lessons learned. I paid extra to be a preferred club member but didn’t use those amenities because they seemed very excluded and boring so I stayed at the main pool and the main side. Still very quiet but at least there was music and entertainment on the main pool side. The food at some of the restaurants were not as good as I expected. Namely the japenese restaurant and the Italian restaurants. I did enjoy the breakfast and lunch buffets, the 24 hr coffee shop and the food at the pool. The nightly entertainment at the theatre was lacking. I expected more there but it was just ok. I wish that they had a night club instead with a dj. Lastly there just aren’t enough outlets in the rooms and there were absolutely none on the side where the beds are which was annoying when charging your phones.

We visited here with our friends September 2025. And oh wow the resort exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely beautiful and the staff were absolutely amazing. I want to give a shout out and massive thanks to Judit and Yomaira ( apologies if I have spelt names wrong) by the pool , ice cube and Beyoncé the entertainers, Angelo our concierge, Melvin in the seafood restaurant. Each and every one of the staff here could not do enough for us , and really made our trip special. It really makes a difference when the staff feel like family! The food at the resort was also amazing, our favourite resturants being the Japanese and seafood. The sushi was incredible!! Overall I would 100% reccomend this resort and if we ever return to the Dominican Republic , we will be sure to stay here again!!

My fiancé and I recently traveled to Secrets Cap Cana in Punta Cana to celebrate my 56th birthday. Our stay was beyond magical. Everything/everyone far exceeded our expectations. This is my second trip there and we will definitely be coming back. If you are on the fence about going to this resort. I will tell you that you will not be disappointed. We loved it!!!
