Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana

Stayed at Dreams Macao to attend a wedding. Everything about this vacation was great. The resort was very clean and had lots to do. The area was perfect and the rooms were very very welcoming. The preferred club comes with a butler that caters to your every need as well. We stayed in the preferred club master suit ocean front and will definitely visit again.

The best all inclusive in Punta Cana , I traveled for a Weeding and the experience was such incredible. The staff is Amazing I would like to recognize Oniel from events he was so helpful and kind. Overall the food, pool, bars, entertainment, the room and the service is a 10/10. Definitely I will go again. Thank you !!

Had a nice time at this resort. It was very large so if you have a room near the lobby, it does take a while to get to the pools/beach. My family made some great memories. The food was average and restaurants were very crowded. Could’ve been the time of the year.

Great for the view of the ocean. We booked Preferred. Check in was interesting, they escorted us to the preferred check in building, collected our passports, and offered a drink. I wasn’t impressed I don’t see the need of it. We could have easily had the same experience in the lobby. We got room 1222 with both views of the ocean and the construction. The room needs some maintenance, especially in the bathroom. Super old hairdryer and coffee machine. The hotel itself is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. We got a very responsive butler Alejandro Mercedes, and it was easy to communicate our needs through the app. He tried to help in any way he could. Thank you for that! We enjoyed the swing on the beach. Waves are rough to swim for children, but my husband did enjoy himself. Check the video for reference. Didn’t like the buffet food I would give it 2* stars out of five. We try specialty restaurants like Himitsu (special thank you for helping us to celebrate our daughter’s birthday it was very much appreciated) and French and Oceana/grill for breakfast and lunch it was an OK experience. There’s also a taco truck which we only enjoy led once in 7 days and lazy river, which was a nice change of scenery from a main pool. A lot of things marked preferred, so if we didn’t have it I would definitely give it only 2 stars to this hotel. If you choose to book preferred, I feel it was bit pricey for what it has to offer. Preferred lounge was dark and small, very limited food choices. To sum up, we had a good experience, a few hiccups here and there,l; I didn’t like the swim up bar service, where it gave me a feeling that people didn’t care much that worked there. And pool service was way too slow. However, most people did show compassion for their job, like our personal butler Alejandro, Rihanna and Justin Bieber from Entertainment Team. It was nice to talk to those staff members through our stay. By the way, it was very annoying when people reserve most chairs in the early morning, and do not use them for hours. But, when we left a pink flamingo floaty at family preferred pool and went to the beach, the floaty gone missing and couldn’t be located throughout our stay. So we carried all of our belongings if we changed pools or went to the beach.

The beach is a disaster. Dreams Macao advertises itself as a luxury resort with very clean beaches. We are huge beach people and love going to resorts with clean beaches. But Dreams Macao beach has a TON of seaweed on the beach. We are here now and very disappointed. The other resorts in the area seem to carefully clean the beaches for better enjoyment. But not at Dreams Macao. See the pics.
